The Simpsons!!

Bancan gave me the idea and i just did a quick search, and guess what, we dont have a thread dedicated to "THE SIMPSONS". no guys, not Jessica and Ashley Simpsons(yummm), but the our beloved "Simpson" family.

I for one am a HUGE Simpsons fan, like many of us.
Been watching the show for many many years now, and there is no escaping from it ( not that im complaining). There is Simpsons everyday on TV channels here, ( Channel 10 and pay tv channel Fox 8)

Love Homer, Merge, Burt, Lisa, Maggie.
Certainly cant get enough of Ralph, Ned Flenders, Principal Seymore, Chief Wiggam, Mr Burns and Smithers.

Also Simpsons movie on the talk, simply cant wait for it.

Put your thoughts guys. im sure we all have something to say about our most beloved television family.

Simpsons is my all-time most favourite show and it never gets old.. Can't decide on my fav character tho.. Homer is my hero! Bart, Mr. Burns, Ned Flanders, Millhouse, Chief Wiggum, Principal Skinner, Moe... ah so many to name or choose

I watch Family Guy and Futurama, but not the other two... I used to watch Beavis & Butthead tho

Figured that part out mate, but still as you answered them, thought the credit should rightly go to you!

for me the best part is the multiple layers of humor - first there's the physical comedy and junior high level humor
then there is the constant spoofing of movies and other cultural phenomenon (e.g. in the episode where Bart and Ralph Wiggum go on a Master Key bender, the toy store was called JRR Toykiens - a play on the famous author of LotR trilogy)
finally there is the subtle political/social humor. e.g. (to beer - the answer to, and cause of most of life's problems)

SouthPark is my fav ... followed closely by Simsons and Family Guy.
