A New Second World Record for Bangladesh???!!!
We have a chance of creating a new record just after Australia's world record, but for that to happen, we've to first sacrifice our dreams of qualifying to the second phase of Champions Trophy. You guys should've understood by now that Bangladesh should beat Zimbabwe in Champions Trophy, and then contrive to whitewash Zimbabwe in the coming home series 7-0. Later, against Scotland, and in the tri-seies along with Bermuda and Canada, we can have back to back victories in those 5 matches, and then there it'll be, the second best world record for the most consecutive victories. Eventhough this shall be a gargantuan achievement by Bangladesh, it'd inconspicuous to the cricketing world due to the fact that our 13-match winning streak would be against feeble nations. Whatsover, record books never conceal, and atleast, Bangladesh's name will be discernible alongside Australia for the most consecutive victories . What do you think guys?

Hey ... thats pretty intelligent thinking actually. You could be right, given that kind of scenario. However the upcoming Bdesh-Zim series is only 5 ODIs now and not 7. I'd imagine the result would be 4-1 to Bangladesh ...
The Zimbabwean team is not 'better' than Bangladesh. I believe the reason why they performed well in the last ODI series was because of their coach, Ken Curran, who is quite fundamental in discipline. He makes sure each player puts in 110% and doesn't joke around. I know for a fact that if Phil Simmons had been coach, Bangladesh would have won that recent ODI series.
Canada will be pushovers in the future ... but Bermuda don't look too bad. They've had some early success in their short ODI history and I'm sure they'll look for an upset on home conditions.

hmm.. I think most of us would rather like to see Bangladesh in the scond round of ICC Chamions Trophy, than to achieve this useless record.

Well, we should set target for one series at a time! Now, our utmost goal is to reach the 2nd round of CT. Just let the other things set aside.

Well...Possibilities are of course there, but the chance of converting that to reality is a different thing. Our team is not in a stage that we can gurantee that we will be winning all the matches against weaker or same-level oppositions.Other than Australia, winning according to the expectation in a rare thing with all the teams.
It will indeed be a great achievement to win even 5/6 matches consicutively.Lets hope we willl win last 5-6 matches before world cup continuously. That can be a real booster for the World Cup.

Mate, how about try to win atleast 2-3 matches in a row, even against the likes of Zimbabwe, let alone "second world record".
Thats far stretching our wild dreams, even for someone so optimist like me.

bangladesh playing against canada and bermuda? i heard about them playing scottland but this is the first time i heard about bermuda and canada. i want to see bangladesh playing against top teams not no third class team like bermuda and canada. beating them and making records in useless. we need to play some test cricket instead of playing against these teams.

All we have to do is take one game at a time. One over at at time. Thats all. A record is a record and my child and grand child's generation can atleast repeat the same streak against the equal boys (no more big boys then).
