Default BD 240/2 ???

Great effort from the Bangldeshi Batsmen. I never expected this. just 2 wickets in a full days play. its great score for any team. i do feel sad for sumon to miss out on a sensational century by 3 runs. i do hope golla hits a 200 tommorow before BD finally, for the first ever time in their test history, DECLARE.

i am keeping my expectations limited. only 400. 400 will be great enough and lets see if bd can win.

GO BD GO !!!

Bangladesh should not declare in my opinion unless they can bat into day 3. In trying to win, we need to make sure we don't lose.

no-ones knows what could happen in this test.

did you know that pakistan have only won 1 test in peshawar. hardly anyone has won on this venue.

this match will probably be a draw.

A rain-uninterrupted test match draw is like a victory to us.

Shouldn't declare even if we make 500. Keep on batting as long as you can.

Yup. We should be realistic. Forget win, put 100% for a draw. Keep batting as long as you can. Its not like, we have a awesome bolwing line up who can take down 20 wickets.

Specially with Sujon!

I think we should stick to Dav's formula - concentrate on personal achievements. If several other batsmen take their time to get set and work towards a bit innings, we will automatically get a draw.

A genuine (i.e not rain intrrrupted) draw is a big thing for us. The Pakistanis will be pushed to score very quickly if we can bat until end of second day. After that who knows what can happen....

For now, concentrate on getting a few more big innings on the second day.

I don't want to sound too harsh, but for all we know, the 1st innings could finish within tomorrow lunch!

Oh God I wish that doesn't happen. Please....

I can't stop feeling sorry for Bashar. Only 3 runs.........

Default Progress

Yeah it's true that Bangladesh can fold up quick, but what impressed me most is that they have had consistent performace since Autralia, Every match some batsman showing the sign of real test class. So one day they will overcome the butterflies and not fold up so quick. The key is be at the same place you were last time the team did good and progress more. But my hat's off to Dav. How can he transform a team to this showing in such a short time. With right infr-structure in place now ( Bangladesh got some Autralian Coach for Under-19 groups) the future is really bright by the grace of All-mighty.
