So We are going to Loose this match
Minimum overs
remaining today: 56.2
Alok Kapali and Khaled Mashud are at the crease now, even if they play 30 odd overs together, we will loose this test match.
The way they have batted, they are not going to score or stay at the wicket for too long in the 2nd innings.
There goes our chance for a first test draw.

125.3 Shoaib Akhtar to Alok Kapali, OUT: good inswinger, Kapali tries to
defend it, got the inner edge of the bat, Rashid dives towards his
left and takes a very good catch
They won't have to remind us of who they actually are, we know it already - guess we will never get to reach our highest test score of 400.

fwullah,
You really do understand cricket. As soon as Ashraful was out you wrote.... here's the starting of the batting collapse --- something like that.
Bangladeshi batting is like TASHER GHOR

Sad...how sad.
I go to sleep right after Javed gets his century and BD is on 250-2. I wake up to find BD all out for 361. Worse still, I take a look at the Fall of Wickets:
FoW: 1-13 (Hannan Sarkar, 5.1 ov), 2-180 (Habibul Bashar, 65.5 ov), 3-310 (Javed Omar, 121.4 ov), 4-315 (Rajin Saleh, 122.3 ov), 5-315 (Mohammad Ashraful, 123.2 ov), 6-315 (Khaled Mashud, 123.5 ov), 7-320 (Alok Kapali, 125.3 ov), 8-320 (Mohammad Rafique, 125.6 ov), 9-341 (Mashrafe Mortaza, 133.2 ov), 10-361 (Khaled Mahmud, 137.5 ov).
...and notice that BD were 310-2 at one point. From 310-2 to 361 all out? I remember thinking that even if Ashraful or Javed were to get out, there would be stiff resistance from Rajin, Kapali, and Khaled Masud. Surely, Bangladesh would get 400+, or even 450+, no? Alas, no....this is a team with a penchant for undoing all the good that comes out of hard work. And it was that bit of knowledge about this team that led me to restrain my elation yesterday. I suppose I did not restrain my thoughts enough.
Disappointed, but still looking forward to a different future....

What a showing
Even though colapse was at the back of my mind last night when we were all at the chat but I really thought this time round it will be different, I also went to bed during lunch break, hoping to see 400+ runs this morning.
This innings could have been a really memorable one for Bangaldesh.

So much negative feedback.
What's done is done, hope the ones who predicted the doom had a great nights sleep. However, I went to bed at lunch with us on 302 for 2.
Its sad to read this doomsday messages over and over and over. We are not awfully good, I get it. No reason to cheer when that side of ours comes true.
Yes, we should have crossed 400 easy, we could have batted on till stumps. Infact, the slump was as amazing as the rise. In any case, we still have 361 on the board, we managed to take 2 wickets (shujon surprisingly at 5-1-15-1) and could have done more if Kabir wasn't bowling. With 227 runs still to go, we can even hope to get a lead.
My worry is going to be the wicket on the fourth day, when we bat again.
IMHO - the 'I told you so's border madness.
