I'm currently level 50 with k/d ratio 1.16 and improving.
FMJ imo is pretty useless, all it does is it increases your bullet penetration through obstacles, in other words your bullets find it easier to damage the enemy through obstacles, it doesnt actually increase the damage inflicted upon your enemies only increases the damage inflicted to an enemy in cover or partly in cover. In maps like rust, I go with a p90 + red dot sign with scavenger pro, hardline pro and commando pro. For big maps like derail I use my sniper class.

I bought Football Manager 2010 last week, and it is amazing, it's a management game, where you're manager of football clubs/teams. So much detail and information has been put into the game.

I know what FMJ does, which is why I use it in most of MW2's tiny maps with cardboard walls. I'd prefer to use the heartbeat sensor instead of the red dot sight but it's a compromise I had to make. I use this class in pretty much all the game modes and maps now and my k/d ratio has already jumped to 1.20 since my last post.

I use either ACR, Barrett 50, or TAR. On ACR, TAR I use holographic and FMJ/Silencer. On Barrett, I use Silencer and FMJ/Thermal. Secondary I use M10 with FMJ and Red Dot. Bling Pro, Hardline Pro, Commando Pro, Semtex, Stun/Smoke Grenate. Killstreaks I have Care Package, Harrier, and Emergency Care Package.

Finished FF8 earlier this week (skipped Omega Weapon).

Bought FF7, but got my GoW collection next day (Wednesday).

Finished GoW 1. Very cool game. Definitely a lot more worth playing than the other Playstation exclusive titles I've seen so far. However, I thought the platforming was highly anal. I can accept a demand for high accuracy if the controls are great, but they aren't. The fixed camera angles don't help either. These things can create a great deal of frustration in some parts of the game. But overall, a very fun experience. I suddenly have a renewed interest in Greek mythology - been googling a lot since I started playing GoW.

Now I gotta finish GoW 2, and then download the GoW 3 demo... then back to FF7.

Finished GoW 2. Kinda weird that the bosses get easier and easier later in the game (Zeus is time-consuming, but still kinda easy). But still, really fun game...

Played the GoW 3 demo... while the graphics and all are impressive, I couldn't really tell much from the demo. One thing I did find annoying was that the buttons on-screen for the QTE sequences are not like in 1 & 2 where they are colored and all... this one has them in some ornamental design and I found it difficult to tell which button it was. Oh well, maybe you get used to it after playing a bit.

Final Fantasy XIII - International trailer

I'm not a fan of either Leona Lewis or the pop music genre, nor do I quite understand what it has to do with the game but somehow it's managed to change my mind. Or may be it's just my love for FF.

The Engrish of "Eyes on Me" >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> This Leona Lewis crap.

Anyway, what worries me more is all the "Barely an RPG game, more of an occasionally playable movie" reviews FF13 has been getting. :X

What the heck is "Engrish"? Is it a cross between Chingri and Eelish?!

The reviews might be right. Just as GTA IV was a colossal disappointment, the same could very well happen with FF XIII.

But that's why they are making Final Fantasy Versus XIII.

Heavy Rain doesn't seem like a game to me... more like a movie you just control the next scene in. But I guess some people will enjoy doing just that...

Just ordered BioShock 2 Collector's Edition for 360. Hopefully they don't pull out some PS3-exclusive DLC bullcrap...

And what's the problem with games transcending beyond the norm to provide a newer, richer story-driven experience? You do much more than control the scene. You make decisions that have repercussions in how the story progresses, giving you a different ending each time you play. Your characters, all four of them, can die. Just because this isn't another shooter doesn't mean it's not a game or not worth people's attention.

All I am saying is that it's not something I'd consider a game, but more of an interactive movie (granted with multiple possible endings or pathways). But please, forgive me for having an opinion! -_-

Besides, it's not all that new/fresh. It reminds me of Shenmue (although, I'd still call that a game)... and sadly, even that ancient cheesy PC "game" called Fox Hunt ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VDX5Sj-0uUU ).

I'll probably try Heavy Rain when it's in the bargain bin... just for the graphics.

Meanwhile, I'll enjoy real games like Bioshock 2 and God of War 3...

So you already played Heavy Rain? How many possibilities are there in the 60 scenes? Please tell me. But no spoilers please!

Also, how is Bioshock 2? I should probably cancel my preorder now. Can you let me borrow your crystal ball please?

You can have your opinion, just as I can have mine.

First of all, Shenmue was a frickin ages ago. Second of all, I said "newer, richer", not "new". There is a big difference. Just because some aspect of a game was poorly attempted by some other crappy excuse for game eons ago doesn't mean it can't be done better. It just happens to be that Heavy Rain is in a very niche genre.

It is also its own experiece. When I say it's newer, richer I mean precisely that. Not only does it seem to have an excellent murder mystery (from all the videos I've seen, which I'm beginning to regret now), here is a story where all your characters can parmanently die and you will still get an ending, just a very sad one. It's also probably the closest games have come to the "uncanny valley". That alone is an achievement. Not to mention there is nothing else like it on the market.

In the end it doesn't really matter whether you call something a game because the ultimate goal of an entertainment medium, whether it's a game or a movie or a music album, is to entertain us. If you don't think you'd like Heavy Rain because it's different than traditional games then that's your prerogative.

Played the Dark Void demo. I wouldn't touch that game with a 10-foot pole.
