Haha.. calm down, i havent played heavy rain.. I was just thinking how it might turn out from experience from other same type of games, and that was my opinion

I only challenged your opinion. If people didn't have opinions we wouldn't have any lively discussions so keep 'em coming.

Fair enough. I play games for a variety of reasons, not just gameplay. Sometimes story takes priority, sometimes gameplay, very rarely graphics. It all depends on the kind of game it is.

I play most games cause of gameplay and stories in shooting or action/adventure games.. But I mostly play sports games, so FIFA is a must have for me every year (have a collection of all EA Fifas from 2002-2010, except 2005).. So for that i dont care bout anything just buy it ASAP..

But for a lot of other types of games, I go with who developed/published the game.. For example, Im an EA fan so EA games get my priority.. Im also a rockstar fan cause of GTA's.. But I like to avoid 2k games, their graphics is just like stick figures.. But for everygame, i watch trailers and reviews, and thats the main thing of me buying a game

Played the HR demo 1.5 times. The "sleazy place" bit is basically Shenmue with advanced graphics (I did get some significantly different scenes the second time around... but whether it was worth a second run-through, I'm not sure). The "crime scene" bit seemed like a drag... doing all that walking around to get little bits of information.

They did say making a demo of this game is difficult since it'd be hard to make it representative of the whole game... but based on this demo, I think I can wait for the bargain bin. *shrug*

360 and PC didn't get the demo first. PS3 got the multiplayer beta way back in November, then PC and 360 got it and then the demo came out for all the platforms.
