he should. Currently Inzi's average has taken a nose dive. I am waiting for Nafees to take on Yousuf.

Holy cow, I thought Inzi again got into a brawl and this time with Nafees who actually beats him.

Now imagine where Inzamam would be if he playing 9 ODI against Zimbabwe in one year. Number 1?

No, the ranking would go down. Because most of the time he wouldn't have a chance to bat.

He was above Tendulkar, but Tendu has crossed him.

This news is like saying I have placed 2nd in the test. But only the students in the class know that there are two students in that class.

Not to minimize this feat in any way. Good to see us getting in the top areas of ranking. But we also need to see it in the proper context. Otherwise celebrating this achievement with too much gusto makes me feel like a cheat.

Hoping that after WC Nafees still remains at 18 or gets even better.

Lets praise him at least. All our players played against the same team and still no one is close to SN. Aftab is the closest at 37 and Bashar 3rd at 73. We should give him some credit.

Now Inzi issue. Yes there's no competition as they played against different levels. But had Inzi played against Zim only, he would have forgotten playing against tough teams. Inzi was out for four matches and CT. People were telling his below par performance due to his absence in international level. Even in the 2nd test when Md yousuf came back after a test break of 3 months, his first innings was bad due to lack of match practice. Our guys are always having lack of match practice. How do you expect them to play like Hussey.

Nafees Beats Inzamam

do u really think s.nafees is better than inzi.
s.nafees is ranked so high because bdesh have been playing against zim and nafees has made good scares.
all three of his centuries are against zim

It'll be a real injustice to the talent like Inzi actually. No matter what, getting to Inzi's level, SN will have to stop playing his "gadha" type shots...and that is likely not to happen anytime soon, coz now he's the MAN...biya koira nijere ostaad bhaabe.
