Watching The Dhoni biography movie. I know I am a latecomer...but not into Hindi movies.

I must say it is long, but entertaining.

Watched the movie Oggatonama- the unnamed. It is a Bengali film released by impress telefilm in 2016 and not a commercial kind of film. But it featured some of the premier actors of the country like mosharraf Karim, Salim, abul hayat etc that's why watched it. Got to say I really appreciated the acting. It is about people who go outside BD for work with fake passports.
Here is the YouTube link. maybe they have officially uploaded as the quality is good.

La La Land . It is a musical but an amazing movie (and I am someone who never likes this type of romantic movies).

Also loved Rogue One.
For a lifelong StarWars fan, it was amazing to see Tarkin again (Thanks to CGI). This was better than the force awakens (from my perspective).
How could anyone like rogue one. That film was such garbage.

Watched back to back probably two of the finest and most underrated horror films ever..

The Babadook
It follows

'Though Conjuring fanboyz may not like them. The Witch' is another underrated masterpiece

On the subject of movies, I've just finished watching Interstellar for the 1st time. A genius movie made by a genius director, Christopher Nolan.

This movie possibly made it into my list as #1.
I sat down and watched this movie from the beginning to the end( All 2 hours and 49 minutes, no bathroom breaks)

Matthew McConaughy's brilliance as an actor is quite evident throughout the film with his emotions and dialogues.
The music by Hans Zimmer is a masterpiece. It so perfectly suits the scenes and the emotional moments. Music reminds me of GOT's music, I think Ramim Djwadi was a student of Hans Zimmer.

I'm gonna watch it again tomorrow.

I only wished that I could have go back in time and watch it in the theater.

10/10

man you missed this big time on IMAX. That is where the visuals looked stunning.
Inception and Interstellar both are my fav from Nolan.

Yes I know...after I finished the movie, I went on IMDB to read the REVIEWS...most of them were good, and all of them highlighted the IMAX experience...

I have seen Inception, but that was a couple of years ago. Might have to go look at it again with this new frame of mind.

The Fountain- 7/10, visually appealing, decent acting with a very complex script, seems overblown sometimes though, I watched it for Rachel Weisz but Jackman stole the show

Serenity-8.2/10, an extension of the short lived firefly series, storyline picked up from right where they left, completely justified and lived up to the awesomeness of the TV series, a must watch for all the firefly fans who somehow missed this

I watched The great wall about 10+ days ago.
It reminded me of John Carter.
And obviously like most hollywood movies with Asian casts there is your typical badass asian girl.

I enjoyed The Arrival but I am yet to watch a youtube video explain it better to me.

Everly-5/10, watchable only because of Salma Hayek, fast paced, thrilling however the script lacked depth and poor direction

The Davil's Double-7/10, better than Sasha Baron Cohen's over the top movies, Brilliant performance by Dominique Cooper, such an underrated actor, kinda looks like Kohli from some angles
