I know it's too early in 2014, but I'm gonna go ahead and chalk up Lego movie as my favorite movie of the year. Everything is awesome!

Watched "the usuals suspects "a couple of nights ago. Kevin spacey acted brilliantly as always. He won an Oscar for portraying verbal kint. But his current character in house of cards, Frank Underwood, is equally impressive.

12 years a Slave.

An absolutely amazing piece of work. It was very hard to see at times but its a must see for all. Everyone will cry watching this movie. McQueen was like a man possessed to narrate the story for Solomon Northup and Hans Zimmer's score was epic.

Watched Non Stop 8/10
Edge of the seat stuff... the pacing and acting was great. See as a not too deep action thriller and you should not be disappointed.

Lol... I was rewatching Usual Suspects last night. The whole Kaiser Soze thing is epic! I 'get' that Kevin Spacey is a fantastic actor. I didnt quite enjoy American Beauty back in the day. but Se7en also shows what a good actor he is.

The less said about Lex Luthor, the better!

what's the point of making two Hercules the same year ?
And the Rock doesn't suit Hercules, he doesn't even look like a Greek.

Might go to watch Captain America, the first Capt. America was too 2nd world war, got me , this one looks exciting.

Has anyone seen Noah? What do people think? I saw it the other day..... Its OK ish. i expected more. Not sure if it is how the actual story was told/written but apparently few countries in the middle east banned the movie.

Watched Captain America on IMAX 3D. Didn't think the 3D added any value though.
I would have to say this one is the best stand alone movie out of all of them, probably slightly better than the first Iron Man.
9/10

Jadukorni made me watch Frozen. Meh... Tangled was waaay better
6/10

Yeah watched Captain America too. I liked it as well. Plot wise it's not the best(but that's not why people go to see a superhero movie), but has some great action scenes. 8/10 overall for me. I am really stoked for Godzilla. Anyone else excited for that movie?

I loved the "Lego Movie"! My favorite so far this year. Watched 'Rio 2' with kids last week and loved it (although not as strong as the original 'Rio'). Looking forward to 'Godzilla' and Brian Cranston - hard to imagine him not be Walter White anymore :-(
I've been catching up on oscar movies from end of last year and while 'Captain Philips' and 'Wolf of Wall Street' were both great but they still didn't match my 2 original favorites - 'Gravity' and 'American Hustle'. Hope to watch '12 years a slave' this weekend.

I watched Capt.America yesterday and it was as expected full of good action.
The bad guy was good as long as he had his mask on, the moment he was w.o. mask he looked so lame.

Anyway, looking forward eagerly to Godzilla .
Thanks to Japanese & the Greeks, without them we wouldn't have all these monsters & half-gods.
