This weekend watched some old movies six in a row. (at a relatives basement) HD version, Surround sound, big screen, just like theatre plus food served time to time.
Pirates of the Carribean - III - Good.
I am Legend - Alright. Expected more.
Transformers - Excellent. Really impressed.
Star Wars - for millionth time. Never gets old. Anikan turned to Seth lord darth Vader.
X men - Excellent. (watched it before also)
Lion King.

Pineapple express - My sister thinks it's better then superbad. So, I got to watch it.
Ditto on the five you commented on. The only thing I disliked about the New Star Wars was the kid in Episode one. Bratty looking kid with poor acting. I know he is a kid but Hollywood usually does a good job getting this kids to do wonderful acting, sometimes even better then their adult co-stars. This kid was just horrible.
Tropic Thunder has gotten some good reviews. I noticed a story the other day where a group for mentally challenged folks asked people to avoid the movie. I don't see anything i nthe promo's that would suggest a connection but who knows. I'll watch it (maybe on dvd later).
X-Files - I could have told you that it was going to suck. I'll still watch it on dvd.

Seth Rogen is amazing. I am gonna watch both soon. I love the title of a Toronto Star review for Tropic Thunder. Offensive, rude, politically incorrect and hilarious.
Superbad was funny but Knocked up was better. I love stoner movies and my friends told me good things about Pineapple Express.

Sovik, what's your take on that ?
Couple years ago, the best comedian in the 'Last comic standing' was a person with physical disabilty (actually, he has cerebral palsy), who one could mistake for someone 'special'. He continously made fun of his appearence. People laughed WITH him and he has a nice fan following. While I have no idea how someone in those circumstances feel but I get a feeling that they'd prefer not to get singled out and feel like a normal person without everyone focusing on their disability, staring at them, taking pity on them, etc. I haven't seen the movie so I'm not sure if they pushed the envelope or not.
I was rooting for him all the way. He won not because of his disability (he didn't call it disability) but because he was geniunely funny. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Blue. I just read his wiki bio and the 'palsy punch' cracked me up, again. Check out his website too: http://www.joshblue.com/. Life gives us hell, sometimes we need a little bit of humor to forget the pain and suffering and instead, look for some sunshine. SMILE. I command you!

More on Josh: http://joshblue.typepad.com/joshblue/video.html
check this vdo: Disaboom: Meet Josh Blue Interview (4 of 6) among others.
I have a feeling that he'll approve Tropic Thunder.
Josh plays soccer and he played (probably still does) for the US para-olympics team.

2 minutes since that shot, just to show how daredevil our hero is, they had another stunt there. CRACKED UP again.

Tropic Thunder was a very entertaining movie.....
I'll recommend this to all fellow BC members..... Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr, Jack Black and "A Superstar Cameo" all were funny.....

Halfway through, the dvd started to stuck, then it stopped. Took it out, aside from the millions of finger prints it's got some smudges on the dvd. My attempts to clean it and finish the movie failed.
Now I'm watching clone high. Race was actually better then this.

I just spent $10/person. I think spending more then 5 bucks on any movie (in theatres) is too much. Off course there are exceptions. Transformers was worth the full amount. Tropic would be worth 5 in my books. If you like Ben Stiller, you'll love it. As for the cameo, when they first showed him/her, my wife asked - IS THAT .......? I thought she was going crazy cause I didn't see ......? on the screen. Took me couple more tries but I finally saw him/her. I think this was one of his/her best work. Typical Ben Stiller movie. Compared to his other movies, I'll give it a 4 and half (mainly cause of the other actors). Compared to others, a 3 out of 5.
