J. Edgar: Spectacular stuff from Di Caprio, complimented by a very good supporting cast. However, the plot itself, at times, was too intricate and incoherent. Expected better from a Clint Eastwood film. 6/10.
We Bought A Zoo: It was a good watch. Story was simple but entertaining throughout. Planning to visit the zoo, on which the story is based, this summer and funnily enough it's in England. 7/10.
Just watched Capote (2005) and then learned that a film with substantially the same plot and characters was made in 2006 as well (Infamous)! Bizarre. Anyway, despite Philip Seymour Hoffman's great acting, I found the film to be a bit meh. It didn't really go anywhere.
I absolutely loved it! I'm glad I didn't read others' opinion on this and went out on a limb n decided to give it a shot. I loved it 10x more than the 1st one. Andrew Garfield was simply outstanding in his boyish portrayal of Peter Parker...from his mannerisms, deep resolve in doing justice, romance with Gwen Stacy, emotional disparity, sacrifices...leaves Tobey Maguire far behind.
Keep in mind..In this remake, Peter Parker exists in the contemporary age of smartphones and social media where being a 'geek' is widely accepted and things have changed with modern social setting. His emotions are controlled and measured. The supporting cast ensemble provides a solid backdrop and Peter Parker slowly emerges out of the shadow and into the wild. This script was written in a more realistic surrounding as oppose to a typical comic superhero. Unbelievable chemistry between Garfield & Stone as oppose to Tobey & Kirsten. Original Spider-man seemed to be cartoonish and hollow compared to this feature. Forgot to mention there are hilarious scenes in the middle that had me in splits..especially when Peter 1st discovers his power potential & awkward demeanor when interacting with Gwen in the beginning. Aaaa can't stop talking about this movie!
Villain was a bit let down tbh. Few incomplete sequential scenes. Irfaan Khan is barely there...may be 3 or 4 scenes. Absolutely hated his forced accent...not sure why desi actors do that...be comfortable in your accent.
Recommendation: You must watch this in IMAX & in 3D if possible. Last few scenes in 3D was pure paisa vasool/ exhilarating!!
DO NOT LEAVE once credits start rolling....there is a BONUS scene after credits!
Shame on you, TigerEz. Is that what you do in school too? Trying to pass on other's work as your own. I was surprised to see a post from you that was well written and unlike the usual garbage of grammatically incorrect stringing of abbreviations and misspellings separated by ellipsis.
Shame.

I swear, while reading that I thought, hmm, Tigerez must really be a middle-aged troll who has finally revealed himself until I saw the post in ICF. Wow.
I watched Snow White and the Huntsman the other day. It was better than I'd expected. Kristen Stewart did better acting than she did in those twilight movies.
I really want to watch Ted and a movie releasing soon called "Abraham Lincoln vampire hunter".

Watched "The Amazing Spider Man" last night... even though i wasn't amazed i still thought it was solid movie. The acting was great and I liked Emma Stone a lot more than Kirsten Dunst. As it is with reboots, the movie took quite some time to introduce the superhero but they did it with a completely different story-line which saved me from getting bored. I would recommend watching this on IMAX for the great visuals
I have to admit something. I have cheated on the people of BC. I stole a post from ICF and i posted it here. Not only once but twice. So i want to apologize to everyone here and I hope you guys will forgive me. I'll make sure i don't commit crime again!
