Exclamation RANT: All I want is a win against India
I don't care if we can't make it to the second round for run rate. I don't care if Sri Lanka beats us by 200 runs or 10 wickets. I WANT TO BEAT INDIA IN THE WORLD CUP. I'd take loses to Bermuda and Scotland for a win against India. (Rant over)

well run-rate wise, i think we are in an advanatageous position because if we can somehow pull off a win against either india or sri lanka, we can wait and see how those two fare against each other on the 23rd, and then play accordingly against bermuda on the 25th if run-rate becomes an issue.

Well as a bangladeshi supporter we should all want our team to go to the 2nd rund. However by reading ur posting, it seems like that u want India to loose more than u want Bangladesh to Win. y wont u care if bangladesh loose by 200 runs against srilanka. I sense hatred in your writing and not patriotism for ur country....very sad indeed....

I want to go to second round no matter who we beat in the process. If we beat India, thats great. If not, then we have to go and try beating Srilanka. Our mission is to go to the second round of world cup and show the world we are really that good. By winning against India and then losing to Srilanka by 200 runs and losing to Bermuda wouldn't help our cause.

They could score the same score.. Aus and SA did that once in one WC but Aus went to the next level cause they have beaten SA in the previous level. but here it will be called draw as no previous level...

Win against India will be really sweet, but I will be the happiest if BD qualifies to the 2nd round. Since, we play the last group match against Bermuda, we are in a advantageous position in terms of runrate.

Same here.

Even beating India and winning against Bermuda may not be enough for 2nd round. If we beat India, India beats Srilanka and Srilanka beats us, then it will all depend on NRR. India and Srilanka are likely to win by bigger margin against Bermuda. On the positive note, we will play the last match in group against Bermuda. So in case of a situation like this, we will know the exactly required margin of victory against Bermuda.

First and only target before qualifying for 2nd round is to qualify for 2nd round by any possible way.

I clearly stated that, if India goes to the second round over us due to run rate I would take that. If I was just an India hater would I say that? Everybody has a wish list. My wish list is "beating India". Not too much more. 2nd round, if happens, great. If not, this win will be enough for me. Just like beating Australia once in Net West was enough. I didn't expect to go to the final, although I hoped that. I don't hate Australia either.

I want our team to beat India..not matter what...cause their board didnt give us our due tour and have the "uspordha" to say that BD players will only get food money if they visit india. Just for this freaking thing I really want them a great dholai. and wish them to get knocked out of WC in the 1st round. nothing against the people but only BCCI so that we get our due respect. And btw, 2nd round will be SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!
