Default ভারতকে ধরে দিবানি


মাশরাফি মোর্তাজা জানিয়ে দিয়েছেন, “যদি উইকেটে কিছু থাকে আর আমরা টসে জিতে ওদেরকে ব্যাটে পাঠাতে পারি, তা হলে ভারতকে ধরে দিবানি”।

মাশরাফির দৃস্টিতে ম্যাচের দুই ইনিংসের শুরুটাই সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ন।
তার মতে ভারত ও শ্রীলঙ্কার বিপক্ষে আপসেট ঘটানোর পূর্বশর্ত দুইটিঃ
১. ওদের ইনিংসের শুরুতে দুই-তিনটা উইকেট তুলে নিতে হবে
২. আমাদের ইনিংসের শুরুটা ভালো হতে হবে।

মাশরাফির দাবী, “বিশ্বাস করুন, আমাদের কারো মধ্যেই এখন আর আমরা হেরে যাবো- এই মনোভাবটা নেই। ম্যাচে আমরা হারতেই পারি। তবে মাঠে নামার সময় আমরাও জিততে পারি- এই মানসিকতাই সঙ্গী থাকে আমাদের।“

“বাংলাদেশ আগে প্রতিপক্ষের খেলোয়াড়দের নামে ভয় পেত। এখন আর সেই দিন নেই। মাঠে নামার আগেই পরাজয় মেনে নেয়ার দিনও শেষ। ওরা ভাল খেললে ওরা জিতবে। বাংলাদেশ ভালো খেললে বাংলাদেশ”।
