Default Best Eat outs in Dhaka-Need your inputs please. (2003 thread)

for a homely ambience you can try out 'Kosturi'.food is good, hygenic and cheap.
another resturant worth checking out is Purbani.the dishes in the buffet are out of this world.you'll need to shell out a little money for this.
Ninfas, its somewhere in Gulshan and they have interesting combo meals.
Malaika has greeeeat kababs.the shop is located somewhere in escaton(sp?).
Ambala's mutton biryani is mouth watering as well[don't know if they still make them ]
and how can we forget fakhruddin's food.

Default Yamiiiii

My mouth has already been watered

Barbi-Q is a new shop placed in Dhanmondi (old-27) for Kabab...It's amazing.

For Kacchi Biriani you have to go to Old Dhaka...their foods are amazing..
The best place to eat biriani is "Star" who has a shop in Karwan Bazar to firmgate road. There is also a good restaurent "Cookers-7" with amazing Khichuri.

For chinease foods Olive Garden is the best now in Dhaka..It's some where in Gulshan to Baridhara..

Thanks...dont forget to invite me....

Hehe, sorry, I am FROM Dhaka, but living in Fairfax, VA at the moment, I plan to relocate to Dhaka with my family next month.

Sorry for pushing Fu Wang so much, but I guess I am a little biased because it's owned and operated by my family. Although I have never eaten there, my brother assures me it's the best Chinese food in Bangladesh. I guess I will findout myself next month.
