Has anyone seen that ad where Indian players appearantly transform into tigers? I was on an IRC chat (#crickettalk) and people were saying that the ad was shown on the day India played us, and oh boy did it backfire!

some of the reactions are hurtful. it's not like they didn't try - they simply got outplayed by two better teams (bangladesh on that particular day, and sri lanka in general). you're supposed to back your players - constructive criticism is good, even asking for someone to get dropped is fine, but not when you question the integrity of the people who have to carry the weight of a billion citizens waiting back home with stones and flames and whatever they can get a hold of.

i know cricket means a lot to many, especially dwellers of the sub-continent, but really, at the end of the day it's only another game.
