The schedule is not correct. What everyone is not getting here that A1 or A2 are not decided whether you have the highest point in your group or not. Points are totally irrelevant here. A1 and A2 are decided by pre-tournament ranking of the teams. Since Pakistan is out and they were D1 initially, now Ireland is D1. West Indies is D2 regardless.
"If any seeded team does not finish in the top two in their group, the non-seeded team qualifying will take their allotted place in the Super Eight fixture list." BBC
This is the correct schedule given that we beat Bermuda tomorrow and England beats Kenya.
March 31 (Saturday): Bangladesh vs Australia (A1)
April 2 (Monday): Bangladesh vs Newzealand (C1)
April 7 (Saturday): Bangladesh vs South Africa (A2)
April 11 (Wednesday): Bangladesh vs England (C2)
April 15 (Sunday): Bangladesh vs Ireland (D1)
April 19 (Thursday): Bangladesh vs West Indies (D2)

Super 8 schedule
I know we still have to beat Bermuda tomorrow, but it's not everyday that a Bangladeshi fan gets the chance to predict a second round cut in a world cup competition and list the teams that we'll be playing if we go through. :p
Saturday, March 31: Australia
Monday, April 2: New Zealand
Saturday, April 7: South Africa
Wednesday, April 11: England
Sunday, April 15: Ireland
Thursday, April 19: West Indies

Believe or not.I m not much worried about the match against Australia. Our players are very comfortable against Australia. We just need to create the preasure from the begining. In the practise match we won against NZ.So they will be under preasure before the match. But we have never played well against SA,Eng and Wi.But WI is unpredictable team.So it not impossible to beat them, but its difficult.I m not thinking about Bd-Irish match.Bangladesh will surely win against them.I m hoping for the best.Good luck Bangladesh and target for SEMI!

So what does each team need to do or how many points do they need to get to proceed?
Bangladesh should target England, West Indies & Ireland and get 3 wins. I think this is posibble if they play really well and luck favours them.

I guess 3 wins wouldn't not be enough to reach semifinals. This is the starting table of the Super-8:
Australia.......2 points
West indies....2
Sri Lanka.......2
New Zealand....2
South Africa....0
Ireland..........0
England.........0
Bangladesh.....0 (90%)
To reach semifinals a "big win" should be needed... difficult but not impossible... reaching Super-8 would be a great achievement for BD so then they would have nothing to lose and could enjoy the party!

Well before the worldcup.. i had thoughts like.. "why india and sri lanka before bermuda..darn these schedules..only if we had 2 points and then go to play india,sl ' well we are so damn lucky we are playing bermuda after ind and sri lanka..they seem to be the easiest of 3. So yes...if we are through.. we should be happy with the schedule..it will make us better..GO TIGERS!!

Switch West Indies with Ireland. West Indies are seeded D2, and Ireland goes thru in place of Pakistan, who were seeded D1. So that makes it Ireland vs India/Bangladesh on the 15h, and against West Indies on the 19th. Mridul explained it in Post #3.
Have a look here for the Super 8 Schedule

I know where your comming from, but if we make it through the next round, I think you must be thankful that we get to play 6 more matches and advance to the super 8's. Just the fact that we advanced to the super 8's is a huge accomplishment so anything after that is a bonus.
If we play really well, we can win against West Indies and England. They are a bit unpredictable and are overrated. Ireland should be a given. Go Bangladesh Go

I Think Bangladesh Can Win 3 Matches from This (Thinking Very Emotionally). They Should Win Against Ireland and According to Performance of This Tournament, Bangladesh Can Beat England or West Indies or Newzealand.
Well It is Almost Day Dreaming but After all I am Bangladeshi. Mon Chay Shob WIN, Practical Holo Only 1 Possible Win and Best; 2 More Win.

3 wins out of 6 matches is too much to ask for BD I think, though I wish we win 3 match in super 8 ( given that we are in ).
Playing in Semi final will be a miracle, all the good luck to BD.

Don't forge... it was supposed to be India who would go through this 'Hell'. We snatched their place... so lets just face it now!

So what happens say if Bangladesh somehow secures at least two wins. One against Ireland and another against England/WI ?? I mean what will be their position? How many do they need to win to proceed or dream?

given the fact that 4 teams are starting with 2 points, and each team plays 6 games, I would say 8 points would be needed to make the semis (and even that would probably cause a tie with the 5th placed team and head-to-head record may come into play as well as NRR in the event of a 3 way tie).
Realistically we should be able to beat Ireland and have a very good chance against England. New Zeland and West Indies are the teams we will have to target in order to qualify for the semis. The batting power of the Aussies and SA will make it very very tough to contend with these sides in the smaller stadiums of the caribbean.
