well played bangladesh & apologies to all bd fans
hello everyone, this is amit from new delhi, india and i would like to congratulate bangladesh for their incredible achievement in the world cup by reaching the super-8 stage of the world cup by beating india & bermuda.
i know when 4 years ago i came to this forum and used to go about saying "bangladesh will never ever beat india", atleast not for the next 10 years, but i realize i was wrong there and would like to apologise to all bd fans for those comments. also, it has become clear that i deserved to get banned from this forum. not only bangladesh beat india, but this was also the 2nd time in last 4 matches that bd beat ind.
its time we indians learnt to appreciate good quality cricket from other teams and stop over-praising india. something which most of the indians usually do and i for once have rarely appreciated other countries cricket and over-hyped india even if ind did nothing. this one thing needs to change in indian fans

Hello Amit,
It is good to see that there are actually some S A N E Indians around. Thanks for dropping in, please be patient with the members who are still throwing mockery towards you despite you being apoligitic. I guess living in the same region, we all have our share of cricket-mad people.
I look forward to see you more often in this forum, of course, only with sane posts :p

I am happy 'Amit' you realized that none is invincible in Cricket. I know you are one in a Billion; but sooner everyone understands is better. The best way to understand is looking at how Indian team came up.
There was a time when England was refusing to host India for one day tournament. But India went on to win world cup. Then everything turned around. Then India started doing the same; Result is vissible..
It's unfortunately fall in indian cricket season. You can't stop it. Another 2/3 years there will be no Shachin, No Dravid, No Ganguly, Shehwag on the decline....they don't get produced overnight. So gotta get used to the season for sometime.
Cheering for country; well that's a pleasure by itself; however they play

Now here's character. Well done bd_fan_from_india. If the indian team adopted this attidute they could've put up a better show in the World Cup.
I would like to think there's more of you in India than the ones who, even after the drubbing, choose to mock Bangladesh Cricket.

all of this brings out these important points:
- if the critics are now admitting they were wrong then, they can be wrong now and in the future also
- if we the fans, said something, it was probably because we know our team better than anyone else does, therefore our views, whilst not perfect, are much more credible
