Default Off topic: India could lose yet another match to us

Half hour into Extra Innings of Set Max channel today - before the SL - SA game of the Super 8s, it seems to me from whatever the Set Max channel producers are saying - India could lose yet another match to us after the World Cup.

I couldn't watch the rest of the show today due to load shedding, until first half an hour, they were going on and on about how they played against SL without going too much into how they lost to us in the first match!

I mean the group stage of this World Cup had been set up in such a way so that the top 8 teams of International Cricket would go through IF (and a big IF) they don't lose to any of the other nations (that includes us).

That's why it seems to me that they could still lose yet another match to us in Bangladesh provided that we have the same attitude. They're simply not admitting to the fact that they were underestimating us, ignoring us completely, before the 1st World Cup match, unlike Sri Lanka.

I have a feeling India will be better prepared when they come to Bangladesh, we should prepare sporting wickets for them.

Yes, lets hope India comes to Bangladesh prepared and beats us, otherwise, we will be playing with a minnow, no challenge beating a team weaker than you.

they will likely kill us in the tests...but we could, key word could, beat them 2-1 in an ODI series...Indian team is mentally a very weak outfit...weaker than us. the reason they have even gotten as far as they have is because of thier sheer talent. fortunately, those days are ending...i have a feeling bangladesh has directly shortened the careers or SRT, dada, and dravid.

I am going to complain to ICC. First in 2006, all year long they forced us playing against minnows. Now in 2007, it is no different.

In May, we have another minnow team coming in. And this one is bunch of sissies. They cry like a baby (Tendulkar, Dravid etc.). Lock themselves in the bathroom (Tendulkar). Blame god for their own arrogance and misdeeds (Sresanth). This is a bad example for the next generation. They need to clean out the roster and give chances to the young ones if they want to compete in 2011.

Default Indian Media is against Bangladesh Cricket

I have observed some of the Indian Medias and I've made a conclusion that their media is totally against anything good our side ever does. Like today I've seen on NDTV that few indian media personallities have mentioned that the BD defeating India was an unfortunate accident and hardly gave praise for us for our briliant fielding and our pacers who bowled extremely well and within the line and lenght. Now I am hearing that the Indians are approaching our coach clearly this shows that the Indians and the BCCI don't want our team to improve and remove ourselves from the minnows league. What really made me mad was the comment by the lady Bedi or something that according to her statistics Bangladesh has played a total of 96 ODI's and we've won only 5 that shows that how little the Indian media has so little information they have on us also this shows that the Indians don't believe that we'll ever become a threat. My final word for the Indian media and their fans is that BD is not a team with part time players, we are team of professional cricketers and we are a growing force to recon with.

Just to make it clear, I was only kidding, so every one gets a taste of how we felt when they refused to host us. This was not a serious satement to tag them as minnow.

You r right, but why should we worry about it. Let them under estimate us and let us beat them every time we meet. Let them always avoid truth...good for us

Good to see that Indian team and their fans will be better prepared for a defeat (may be two) in May.

Good to see that BD now considers itself a super power in cricket and are under estimating India.Btw Thx for helping India getting knocked off the tournament..We would have been whitewashed in the Super 8's.

You don't need a super power to beat India, any decent team can do the job (especially if India is not playing on home turfs).

That's right, losing to Ireland would be lot more humilating than losing to BD.
