Thank You BC!
Mission Completed. Like Tiger_Eye said in another thread, who would believe right at the begining of world cup that Bangladesh will finish as 7th - ahead of all associates members and of course IND + PAK. Have to say this was a good tournament for us. Keeping the team management issues like coach, captain, selectors etc. aside, let's take the result and celebrate. I would also like to convey my thanks to all BC members here who's company made me felt I'm in BD while BD matches were going on. For some of you who were lucky enough to enjoy the matches from Bangladesh, I'm sure you had lots of fun with friends and family. But for the expat people like us - staying thousands mile away from home, wathcing or following world cup cricket without BC would have been so boaring.
Thank you all and let's celebrate!
Congratulations to tigers and Congratulations to BanglaCricket for holding the biggest online tiger-fan community during last few days!

A great journey of WC ended with little sadness & emptiness……….BD have the potential to do lot better………….for some reason our players with bat don’t want to learn from their errors…………but playing 6th last game of the WC is a fantastic achievement…….with broken heart I want to say thanks to everyone involved……for being so passionate with BD cricket ………….! Last two games it reached the bottom……only way BD cricket could possibly move from now onwards is going up..up….& up!

We are so spoiled that we only mention Ind+Pak and forget about Kenya+Zimbabwe. We sure have come a long way.
Thanks BC. Without BC we would have missed out so much. I feel sorry for all the Bangladeshi fans who followed the world cup without BC.

Ask me, if you wanna know how it felt. WC 2003 didn't happen for me. I didn't know about BC back then. After joining BC in September 2006, it just feels that I found my old friends back. I used to be one of the craziest ones among my friends back there. And after coming to Canada, I gave up everything...just so that I get the grades that's worth the money I'm spending. And I guess it paid off so far
To BC, this forum is nothing without the members. All the members make it feel like home to expats like me. And following WC from here made me feel that I'm sitting with my old friends, enjoying the match. I can't explain how wonder it has been here.
To admins: Thanks for the continued support. BC wouldn't be where it is without you.
All staff and mods: You guys are all dood-bhaat
And my partner in crime, Miraz bhai: Aren't we COOL?

Yeah, thank you so much BC and admins. Without your dedication we won't be able to share thoughts, frustrations and most importantly this place has become a great place for huge amount of cricket information and point of views. Someone (i shall if no one else does) should write to Bangladesh National Newspapers on BC activities during the WC so more people in BD would know such active portal exists

Oops! So frequent wins against NZ, IND, SA has made me spoiled.
But you are dam right about that. It's also a pleasure that we are well fron of our once tough competitors ZIM and KEN.

Icing was Teshin and co.'s pictures, the chat with Abdur Razzak (Brownie points) and Mushfiq, the Indian bashing (this was the best icing - chocolate flavor), the high and lows, the triumph and fall, Mods banning the ugly ones, SL showing who is the boss (which standard we need to achieve), Miraz bhai's match reports, so many things.
