England v/s West Indies.
Its not only pride that these two teams will play for. The 5th place is also at stake, not to forget the cash waiting for the Country that will win this one. Moreover, England will want to win it for Duncan Fletcher. For West Indies - one name has been synonymous with the Team West Indies - Brian Lara. Last match as ODI captain of the team, but more importantly for him its the last ODI match he will play. He will want to leave behind with beautiful memories and what better way to leave, after taking your team to victory. Best of luck to both the teams.

Guard of honour by english fielders as Lara enters the field!
Out goes Gayle - in comes Brian Charles Lara for his final international innings. England give him a guard of honour, clapping him all the way through, and Smith shakes Lara's hand. The atmosphere is quite electric out there now; a standing ovation, conches blowing, drums banging.

He's out. RUN OUT!!!!
Broad to Samuels, OUT, what a desperate way to bring down the curtain on Lara's career. Samuels pushed the ball to mid-on, called for the run, Lara answered and almost immediately Samuels changed his mind, leaving Lara stranded.
A huge and warm reception from crowd and players as Lara headed off but he was clearly unhappy - as well he might be - and he wasted no time in heading off. Samuels sold him down the river and Lara never had a chance to get back once Pietersen had picked up cleanly ... all he had to do was amble in and remove the bails.

What a sad way to end the greatest batsman of world cricket.
Run out for a run that was never there.
Samuels made the stupid call and then left Lara stranded.

Samuels is one idiot, and Pietersen is another. I know it sounds stupid, but in a match that means little to both teams, he shouldnt have run out Lara in the spirit of the game.

Samuels is a dumbass, why didn't he run towards the danger end?
At least he will be known for the rest of this career for this I think.

England players begin their chase. The targets 301 at 6.02 per over. Now Lara, the captain, is on focus. Go ahead Lara, do it for yourself !...

Thats Brian Laras bowling figures in ODIs. AWESOME AVERAGE AND STRIKE RATE ! Ok the economy isnt that good but if he bowls well today he can change that. He should be doing that....didnt get the chance to spent much time in the crease...Anyone for Lara to bowl?

Collymore to Strauss, OUT, straight, Strauss looks to turn it to leg but all he does is scoop the ball into the hands of Devon Smith at square leg. A soft dismissal
AJ Strauss c Smith b Collymore 7 (10m 12b 1x4 0x6) SR: 58.33
