Hey guys, I am curious
So, I was wondering, exactly what sort of a defeat is it going to take where we won't go ballistic in the aftermath asking for the heads of 'Omuk' and the resignation of 'Tomuk'?
A defeat by 1 wicket? By less than 10 runs? Where perhaps there were circumstances that were out of our control? Perhaps a game where we played the best we could but the team better on the day won? Kinda like this last match?
I only ask since we see this sort of reaction whether we lose a match badly or after a good fight. Our team might only just now be reaching the standards of the other teams in the subcontinent, but it seems like our fans are already there.

this is the answer to your question, capslock bhai.
when we beat zimbabwe the first time in 2004, i had just joined BC, many members and I too believed that Bangladesh were capable of winning 1 match per series.
i remember saying that the success of 2004 Asia Cup would be to beat Hong Kong and then win 1 of the 4 games against the big 3.
clearly, bangladesh were still a pretty poor team. they were a poor team until sometime in 2005. that is when they began their rapid, yet piecemeal change to a competitive unit.
today bangladesh are much better than 2004, or 2005, or 2006. yet it is only now, after the slayings of new zealand, india, and south africa in the same tour, can bangladesh realisticlly expect to win 1 match per series (3 ODI series).
which proves that fans will always rate their team a good bit higher than they really are. the only exception might be the aussie fans - but hey, weren't there some who said OZ would beat us in a Test inside a day?

India won by the grace of Dav, Bashar (little bit tighter/attacking fielding) and the umpire (That genuine lbw of Dhoni). Anyone from the trio could win us the match.
If you want to congrat India for win then you should congrat this trio because they made India win, not the Indian players.

A defeat where we dont go into hibernation after not being able to get a wicket for a while and a defeat where our captain shaheb doesn't show his awful minno mentality which was oh so evident in the last match. Comeon... we can do MUCH better than that! correct me if I'm wrong...

Dude, the way we lost the game was painful... The game slowly slipped away from us and our captain did nothing to prevent it. I would not mind losing the game if we were a bit more aggressive.
