Default Cricinfo's atrocious series review

Well Siddarth Monga has posted his 'Series' review on the Cricinfo main page, but one wonder why they even bother calling that since the only team he really talks about and actually reviews is India. When he is kind enough to even mention Bangladesh it is only in the context of the Indian performance, and not as the other vital component of the series.

It's amazing that he talks about the 'arrogance' of retaining Virender Sehwag while completely ignoring one country in a bi-lateral series, the irony is tremendous. Recently Cricinfo has been improving but this joke of a 'series review' only sets them backwards.

it was india's series review, not ours or the series as a whole. perhaps the title was misleading, but i didn't expect siddharth monga to review our performamce. that is BC's job.

i am more upset at sambit bal trying to get dav to say we don't deserve to play test cricket. what a friggin biggot!

Well the Indian audience is bigger, they are just following simple supply chain management. Anyway I think they might have something for BD soon...Or may be someone from this Forum (Miraz) can do a nice review and sent that to Cricinfo to post there or at least post a link to here.

Giving the last touch to the review.

But mine one includes both India and Bangladesh.

Probably some misunderstanding.

My review will be published at BanglaCricket and CricketWorld.

Will try to link it to Cricinfo.

Yes, you must as they know you now!

Those guys in Cricinfo can put a back reference to your article apperaing in Cricketworld or BanglaCricket. Give it a shot and in that way they can atleast review their own article if at all it is biased or not.

Cool down!!! It nowhere claims to be a series review. It discusses the dillema India is in. It highlights the fact the questions India sought to get answers for were not answered. It by no means claims to an overall review of the series. I am really frustrated by these kinds of threads that try to trash anything written by an Indian. This does not bode well in projecting the objectivity of the BC members.

Yes, it does, on the main page, if you click on 'series review', you get forwarded to this.

Mr Monga has proved his incompetency as a writer through the few compositions he's made for this series. This assessment is entirely based on his articles and his style of writing.

Spot on for both.

By the way, that last part of the interview just set the stage for sidelining Bangladesh in Test cricket for another year. We need to brutalize India in the tests. Sad, under HABLA mia, that is not to be....
