Want to see him as a captain of the Test team for at least one year from now and as ODI captain for 1-2 series.

As an Indian fan, I would say he should be dropped simply because, he let the Indians get away when they were choking for 5 wickets down.... I mean at that time, Indian team was in total disarray, fresh from defeats in WC, and all the problems that followed after, BD could have easily beaten them 1st game and stamp their psychological advantage on them. Bashar as a capt is responsible for this debacle.

He MUST immediately retire from ODI.
Let this not become a farce!

Bashar has got a chance to retire from ODIs with dignity but it seems he doesn't understand that term. Probably will get a kick on the bottom and will realize that he is not in the ODI team any more. Obviously he has passed the learning age but certainly could have realized that "HE IS NOT NEEDED ANY MORE".
Bashar shaheb, there is still time, just retire and live with pride.

voted to play in test as captain and only player in ODI. We still need experience in the middle and I believe he will come back from his off form.

Captain should be innovative and dedicated. HB lacks the first one completely. Second one for him in some matches is completely lost, for example during Irish debacle. He still got to play a lot of test. We need the experience.

i've voted for test player only. he should retire from ODI. he cant play that version we have seen for a long time. can play 1/2 test series. in test the captency is more important than ODI. he has no idea bout captency. i dont forget that the time he took the role it was crutial for us. but recently when he doubled his stance he lost my respect. man dignity and sense of prestige is all a man looks for. u should sense what people r thinking bout you. as per tiger_eye..... eta chintar kotha. look what dada tried in indian team. devide 2 rule. we dont want to see teams sprite goes down.
thats why jo, pilot and bashar ..... bcb should think bout them. or ealse injoured tigers can turned to man eaters...

As he is shameless enough, we can't expect him to retire from his own. So, let him be in Test team and dropped from ODI. As he uses his brain for field setting as much as my gold fish does, there is no point in giving him the captaincy. Let him be just a Test batsman. Nothing more.

we are playing ODI from last few month where is showed his excellent form now this time for test cricket after long. I believe he will run his excellent form also there. But I support him to get a chance to prove his excellent form in Test one more time then He should be dropped from both side. NOW HE IS ABSOLUTE LIABILITY OF BANGLADESH TEAM.

Bashar should be forcibly retired from ODI if he doesn't do it after this series. I think he doesn't even deserve to test captain, as Ashraful has shown he can do a better job. Bashar can be simply a batsman and from now on he has to justify his place with performance.

I have a feeling that lot more than 25 people will want Bashar to be kicked out of both Test and ODI teams by the time first Test ends.
