20 member list of BD A & President\'s XI
The 20 member list of BD A & President's list to play England is-
Of the 20 member preliminary squad who are selected to play against England, the following will play in the practice matches too either for BD A or for Board President's XI:-
1) Hannan Sarkar
2) Rajin Saleh
3) Mushfiqur Rahman
4) Tareq Aziz Khan
5) Anwar Hossain Munir
The following players will play only (as far as the news goes) in practice matches for either BD A or Board President's XI:-
6) Humayun Kabir
7) Nafis Iqbal - U-17 Asia Cup 2000, U-19 World Cup
8) Moniruzzaman
9) Aftab Ahmed - U-17
10) Nazimuddin
11) Ashiqur Rahman - U-17 3 Nations in SL 2002
12) Kafi Khan
13) Enamul haque Jr.
14) Nadif Chowdhury - U-17 3 Nations in SL 2002
15) Arafat Sunny - U-15 2000, U-17 teams
16) Ali Arman - also age-group teams
17) Talha Jubair - had his ODI and Test Debut vs SL
18) Gazi Alamgir
19) Ziaur Rahman - U-17 team
20) Anwar Hossain (wk) - had his ODI and Test debut vs. WI, U-17 Asia Cup 2000
One interesting thing that I figured out - although we know this fact already, but still i would like to say this particularly here in this thread:-
Mashrafee Bin Murtoza, Mohammad Ashraful, currently injured Mohammad Sharif, Talha Jubair and Nafees Iqbal played in the same tournament once. And that means we have currently 1) Mashrafee, 2) Ashraful, 3) Sharif, 4) Talha = 4 players coming out from the age-group tournaments and doing well at the International stage.
But look at the players who were not in those particular age-group tournaments, and yet they are at the same age to play for the U-19 World Cup holding in Bangladesh in January/February 2004-
1) Rajin Saleh - he played for U-23 team against SL last/this year
2) Alok Kapali
3) Tapash Baisya
In addition to all that, I think the following players of the current National team who will play against England came from some sort of age group level tournament:-
1) Hannan Sarkar - I remember he played for BD A for about 2 to 3 years
2) Javed Omar Belim - can anyone confirm, please?
3) Habibul Bashar - confirm please
4) Khaled Mashud - confirm please
5) Alamgir Kabir - U-23 team
6) Fahim Muntasir - U-19 World Cup - confirm please
7) Mushfiqur Rahman - U-19 World Cup - confirm please
Other players -
8) Monjurul Islam - U-19 World Cup - confirm please
9) Al Shahriar - U-19 World Cup - although the media was very critical of his age at that time
10) Mehrab Hossain - U-19 World Cup

There's no proof because bashar did no such thing. he was playing test cricket at the time.
Those age group teams are a joke. All of these kids are older than they claim and everyone knows it (read the article in the Holiday posted on the front page). It's time one or two got caught so this systematic abuse comes to an end.
I don't think any test player who is eligible for U-19 should go back and play in the U-19 World Cup next year. That is shameless, let the real 19 year olds who have something to prove get a chance. Even playing them doesn't guarantee success, as was the case with Ashraful in 2001, at a time when he was about to conquer the world. Rajin, Alok etc should be playing test cricket where they belong.
