Cricman leads the table with 11%.
This means 11% times Cricman posted his messages by creating a new thread.
Cricman is followed by Babubangla (9%), Oracle (9%), Ahmed_B (8%) and Fwullah (8%).

Another creative thread from Babubangla! Nice read of those 'first post' of our seasoned members too.
And interesting stats on thread opening rate from rupantor. Looks like I opened 8 thread so far, and I guess all of them in 'Forget Cricket' forum!

BB Bhai...another great thread by you...
i guess after all the flooding of nonsense threads by our newcomers, its time to look back and reflect on the good ol days when we used to have much more interesting ideas...
Not that this means we are discouraging any newbies to open new threads..its just a common sense should be prevailed...
Nice to see my name among the top 50 posters here...even though i have slowed down a lot lately in terms of my posting frequency...guess rather busy personal and professional life is to be blamed...
I, for one, dont really like to open threads randomly or just because i felt like.
Thats the reason its only a low 18.
I'd rather put my thoughts in other threads opened by members and contribute in that.
and yeah..damn i need to increase my post count. its getting quite low day by day.

About 70-80 threads out of 300 opened by me were BC bulletins.
If we deduct them, it should be around 200 opened by me, around 3%.
Good analysis rupantor.

Well.... his original BC nick was AgentSmith... and the first post made by that nick will be Rubu's first post.
I am also one of those members too... who changed their Username in the midway. I was Crickethorizon when i was born in BC. That makes the stats bit complex.. doesnt it?

Change of nick was applied to all post-- including the very first one. Even though your first post was made as Crickethorizon, it is now showing "Ahmed_B" as the author. So, no complexity there--all simple

Comments:
Posted first on the same day he joined the forum and opened first thread 8 days after joining. He came to the forum during our tour to Zimbabwe in 2004. His first post was very pessimist in nature where he suggested that BD should voluntarily give up the test status. Morning showed the day and SS soon became a brand name for pessimism in the forum. His first thread was interesting one with a simple full-stop mark (.) as the tile. The thread was about emotional nature of our players and he suggested using this emotion in a positive wayâa slight flavor of pessimism was there in the thread as usual.

Why not?
A simple hot bath will take care of the reverse transformation.
He converted into a tiger by spray-painting his cat body.

I wonder what was my first post. I'm too scared to find out thinking it might have been something childish at the heat of the moment.
Anyway, great thread BB bhai. Hope to find my place in the BC Pros and veterans someday.

Interesting....but now that you mentioned Begum at end ... now I can understand your point. When I first heard the name 'Zuanid Kazi' the words that came up in my mind was "Zhun Zhuiinna Hazi". But eventually turned out to be very nice fellow. So Name is deceiving (like my own Name).
To tell you the truth, picture says more than the name itself.
Look at Dr. Z's picture. He has the following traits:
1. His face becomes asymmetrical when he smiles.
2. He successfully hides his teeth even when he smiles. That tells me be careful even when he smiles. He may be smiling, but he will not hesitate to give you a pink slip with smiling face.
3. Is that large glass is to hide his eyes? So no chance to read his mind; very careful and methodical.
4. Looks like Brain cells are always working... that make warm head... that can explain loosing hairs
5. Some white touch of beard gives him paka 'atel-atel' type look
Khaisee.... strike one ailoo money hoi

I have a bad feeling that our society is moving towards Afgan or Pak or Algeria If we take a look at newspaper we will find so many MAULOBI or MADRASA related news everyday and it's becoming more and more. Not unexpected if they stand against wresling or footbal.

First Thread:
Need batting and bowling coach to be competitive
Comments:
Posted first 12 days after joining the forum and waited a long 15 months before opening first thread. He made his first post expressing his concerns about the news that the national women wresting and women football competition was threatened by radical Islamic forces in Bangladesh. During our tour to Sri Lanka in 2005, we reduced SL to 48/4 on the morning of first day in the 2nd test, but they end up scoring 449/7 at the end of Day-1. The inability of our bowlers to hold on to the early success in this match moved PoorFan so much that he ended his 15-month long wait and opened his first thread demanding separate batting and bowling coach for the team. PoorFan should be happy to see that BCB is hiring special batting and bowling coach, which he demanded almost 21 months ago in his first thread.

Thank you Rupantor. Nice stats!!
For all BC members:
I own Other Sports Sub-Forum.
Not even cricman has opened as many threads as me there.
R_W (100 threads) owns Forget Forum, lol. Oracle distant 2nd.
Fwullah (500 threads) owns Cricket Forum. She didn't open a single thread in other sports or forget forum. She is truely all about BD cricket.

I could only translate the last part "It is difficult to walk with honors intact"
Can someone translate the first two parts.
