Default Songs of Bd..underrated...and made you cry

Bangla songs are very underrated. Firstly, I mean REAL songs..not those rubbish from Artcell and those America wanabee Warfaze etc...other bands (my opinion) they aren't good, but some songs really made me cry.

Has there ever been a song that made you cry more than:
James: BABA and MA and Amar shonar bangla?

Btw, songs like this the third one will go to my montage, but damn, people say pakistani music is best in subcontinent, but they need to hear some of our tunes!!!

I can't think of a bangla song that made me cry. But I'm a big fan of Habib and all his songs.

Dont think ive heard a song that made me cry, but i liked "Rath Nemeche" by "Metal Maze" a bit when i heard it a couple years back. You probably wont like it though. Its one of those "american wannabe" songs...

No song ever made me cry.

Well that's not true. Sometimes when I'm emotional, I do cry. But at that time I usually play some good songs that go with the situation, which makes me cry even more. But no song could make me cry, starting from scratch.

It is not fare to question someone's humanity for not hearing songs.
There are many people who don't hear songs, but a simple visit to an otolaryngologist often solves their problem.

You have just ditched two bands which has( had) some of the best guitarist bangladesh has ever produced. Just because they are metal does not make them american wannabees. In that case I can call u an american wannabee if u ever wear shirts and trousers. And a lot of BC members are writing from Canada, US and Uk, does not mean that they are any less bengali than you. James is metal too ( the songs u refer too arent traditional bengali songs by any stretch of your imagination).
Please respect the art of metal. If you don understand the guitar work that goes into the song than please don disrespect it either.

Well, I didn't read the first post completely earlier. Now that I read that, it kinda threw me off, just like it did to HereWeGo.

Appreciating good MUSIC is different than appreciating good musicians. And SideWinder, sorry to say, you just gave music fans a bad name by calling Artcell and Warfaze rubbish wannabes.

I wasn't privileged to closely interact with Warfaze or any of its members, but I had the privilege to watch Ershad bhai (Artcell's guitarist) and Jahan bhai (Black's guitarist) from up-close. Jahan bhai is like an elder brother to me, and Ershad bhai is his good friend (well, better friends with Tony bhai I guess). And watching them from up-close and interacting with them so much, I only got to figure out how difficult it is for a musician to come to a world-class level.

Trust me, you have no idea about what these guys have done when they played in the underground level. Artcell's quality of music is unparallelled in Bangladesh. Warfaze is a different type, as far as I am concerned. And the other guy in Bangladesh that is not much appreciated is Piklu, who was with Aurthohin the last time I checked. These musicians' contribution to Bangladeshi music is no less than other pop musicians that many people go crazy about.

And James, to me, is just a simple pop musician, who ONCE got some success with his folk music. Other than that, I found him quite irritating.

it's embarrassing even to consider thinking about the rest of the post after reading the bold comment right at the start.

the question remains WHY ?

agent-provocateur or just olpo bidda bhoyonkori ? out of the mouth or some other orfice ? it doesn't smell like toothpaste from here ... please edit that out bro, sweeping statements like that expose more about you than anything else. no need to try and enhance your own self-esteem at the expense of others ... never works that way, trust me.

bangla songs that make me cry, the top 5: -

1. ami opar hoye boshe ach'hi - lalon shai, perfomed by farida parveen.
2. nishitho ratero badolo dhara - robindronath t'hakur, performed by sahana and ornob.
3. tomarei koriyach'hi jibonero dhrubotara - robindronath t'hakur, performed by sahana and ornob.
4. ami banglay gan gai - protul mukhopaddhay (thanks One World and amethyst), performed by anyone who can carry a tune.
5. hariye guiyech'hi - composed and performed by ornob, wriiten by sahana.

SideWinder mate, u r making a complete fool of yourself by stating Warfaze and Artcell is rubbish.
i say your comments are rubbish.

No need to elaborate on my points why, as some of the members already did.

Fair enough if you dont like a certain type of music, thats your choice.
but dont go calling them names.
Learn to respect other's choice as well.
that way others will respect u as well.

I, for one, dont listen to country music, but you'd never hear me saying they are rubbish.

One man's junk is anothers treasure.

Bangladeshi bands are amazing. specially because there are very little chances of getting really good guitar, drums etc lessons. even though i am not a big bangla music fan i heard enough to know that there are some amazing bands in BD. but one thing bd musicians need work on is stage performances. some times they just stand there.

Sydney, country doesnt interest me either. but Bonjovi makes everything cool.

Kabir, it seems you know some members from Black. Do you know what their relationship is like with tahsan now after the split?
