It is well known that he is a bit vulnerable early in the innings against pace bowlers.

Well, Bad umpiring is always in the cards ...question is, why do our players give the umpires a chance to make bad decisions?! From what many posters are saying, the majority of the blame should go towards SN's footwork.

Well said! Unless SN fixes his poor footwork I don't think he'll do much better in international cricket, not even with helpful umpiring ( if sth like that exists! ).
