Does anyone realise one thing about Tamim Iqbal?...
... that mostly, whenever he hits a boundary, in the next delivery, he comes out of his crease to try to hit it for a 6.
although this (most probably) a good sign, he needs to watch out because if the bowlers know about this, then they will obviously deliver a yorker if they are hit for a 4 by tamim.
have u guys noticed this? sorry, i cnt find any videos on this.

no problem. Tamim will make a full toss out of the yorker and will hit a SIX. But I am more worried about what he will go for next? Not every form of cricket support taking 8 runs off a delivery.

For upcoming twenty20 you need this type of batting.

We may request ICC for a new type of scoring shot.

that is his first problem....
The 2nd problem is:
... and when he tried to hit for 6 .... he need to hit much harder... otherwise he will continue to give loppa catches

Aggression coupled with intelligent shot selection only can bring a steady performance. Otherwise, Tamim will end up becoming 'quick-fire 30-40 Aftab'. I like the fire in the kid and want him to play sensibly and prolong his innings. God knows we need it more than anything.

Tamim's charging is quite entertaining - especially when he connects. He really should be an essential part of the Bangladesh team but the problem is he's an idiot. Just after one big hit he charges after a another one. Why not look for a single? But for the people who think he's going to be another aftab, that's not gonna happen. He can block and play spin quite well.
Nevertheless, both tamim and aftab are essential members of our ODI team and should also be essential members of our test team. Aggressive players are generally the better players. They just need to learn to defend once in a while, or take a single.

it's all part of the plan. he tries to unsettle the bowler. when he charges down the pitch few times, the wicket keeper comes forward. a fast bowler is not so much used to bowling at fast speed while the keeper is just behind the stumps. it effects the bowler's natural rhythm some way or the other. the bowler for start can't bowl bouncer. every now and then he will no doubt deliver a few bad deliveries and thats when tamim pounces on them and make them disappear out of the ground.
tamin the man with the plan.

I am sure he doesn't think that far. He just loves to come down the wicket and have a swing at it.

I have another question....is Tamim ready for Tests? or does he have enough patience to play tests? being yound or old is not a factor here as we have seen Mushfiq perform last test..

the reason tamim excluded from the test matches cause he's too aggressive, he doesn't have enough patience etc. etc. and i used to agree with all these...but we could take him instead of bashar atleast. i'm sure lot of poeple already asked this question...but can someone again please explain me the actual reason for bashar instead of tamim? i just think bashar can be replaced by any bangladesh A team or a First class division player.

Who cares if he gets out or not! It''s good to see at least someone hitting the ball unlike other fellow Bangladeshi Cricket Players. Like rah bhaiya says 'he is a born entertainer'.

Interesting quotes considering our dismal test record. I would like to ask the people who agree with these quotes three follow-up questions:
Question One: How many players in the Bangladesh cricket team are ready for test cricket?
Question Two: How many players in the Bangladesh cricket team have the defensive mind-set to play test cricket?
Question Three: How many players in our cricket team have the patience to play test cricket?

Tamim is a great talent but he feels too much pressure to score quickly as he is usually batting with Javed Omar. When he is not madly charging down the wicket, he looks like a proper test batsmen capable of scoting all around the ground.

yes i noticed it too. abd sometimes he gets out after hitting a boundary.
like it just happened...
25.4 McCallan to Tamim Iqbal, SIX, wonderful shot, picks it up nicely and swings it over the midwicket fence.
25.5 McCallan to Tamim Iqbal, OUT, once again goes for the similar shot, this time picks out the fielder Kevin O'Brien at deep-midwicket, who takes the catch.
