it clashes with christianne amanpour's "God's warriors"...yesterday part one was about Jews, today part two is about muslims, and tomorrow part three on the christians.

I saw that 'When the Moors Ruled Europe' one a while ago.. is that the whole program on YouTube there?
Enlightening isn't it? Did anyone get taught that in history? It's a pretty big deal that the Moors were the catalyst for the Renaissance, in fact you could say they had one of their own but it's the first time I've heard about it.
It's strange to think of what 'the Moors' were then and how they (North Africans/Arabs) are now. It's like 'where did all the scholars and leaders go?' It seemed like the Moors followed Islam in a more productive way. More about learning and innovation than fighting for power and hating the 'infidels' for everything. Ah well they say history works in cycles, maybe they'll have their time again. Let's just hope not in the way that America has it now.
