I strongly recommend that we should have Junayed in the team instead of Alok.

Kapali is our scapegoat today, coz we always need one when we lose and look past our obvious faults. Our opening pair failed miserably. Ash got out on his 3rd delivery, and although Aftab played some brilliant shots, he was bowled from a horrible swing and miss. We never built one good partnership. The rest is history. Wild aerial shots, poor running between the wicket, a frenzied batting performance. That's the story of our match. I'm not gonna defend Kapali because he didn't play superbly, but I'm not gonna blame him for the way he played when we were something like 6 down for 100 from less than 11 overs. I'm shocked by the knee-jerk reaction of some of our fans as much as I'm disappointed by the team's performance. It’s time for a change in attitude.

We cannot take any chance in super 8. I am big fan of Alok. But I don't wanna ruin our chance by experimenting with him. He needs to be dropped.

There is some thing called singles in cricket. I don't say that this guy needed to play big shots. But atleast he could take singles frequently to rotate the strike. You know what, 14 out of 35 deliveries can never be accepted in even ODI games. And THIS IS 20-20. So no excuse for this guy.

Yes, I agree with you there. As I said, running between the wicket was appalling. But we as fans should try to place the blame on all the aspects and not one player. We were already sinking before Alok did any worse.

perfectly put, alok is a bit risky now we should probably go for nadif in the match against australia instead of alok,i think 70% of the blame for our loss goes to alok because he could had added 20 more runs to the team but he didnt,i mean he is just too defensive man he is not much positive too,i say give nadif a chance or if not him atleast ziaur rahman, and lets just drop tamim and give junaid a chance i am not saying to drop nazim because tamim has dissappionted many times but atleast nazim scored 2 fifties and he is only in bad form for 3 matches as for our so called best talented batsmen he was in bad form for like 4 matches ,so dropping nazim will be unfair i guess.

What attitude? play a guy who cant (read dont want to) even take singles? a total moron, playing for his place than anything else, thats why he dont play shots just want remain not out to seal a place in the team. a total waste and rubbish.

Dont forget there are better players waiting in the sidelines who are far more capable than this idiot. player like junaed or even zia could have done a lot better.

I agree that we're making alok kapali our scrapegoat today, which is wrong because all the top order batsmen more or less threw their wickets away, but even so, I really think we need to blood in youngsters. In fact, I think we should have played Nadif or Junaid today. (preferably nadif. lol.) Then again, my fear is that if the new player fails against the aussies tmr, he'll be made a scrapegoat and dropped for a while. :S

The attitude of fans. We always blame one player for our losses, but not where the team as a whole has failed. Alok was never suitable for this format of cricket, and we had this match to experiment with the changes, so why didn't we? This was a perfect opportunity to try the other players, just as I stressed in the other thread before the match. But the "fans" wanted to keep the "winning combination". So there's no point bickering on about what Alok could or should have done, it's a little too late for that. Making changes in the next match won't change the outcome or failures of this match.
