Moron was originally a scientific term, coined by psychologist Henry H. Goddard from the Greek word moros meaning "dull" (as opposed to sharp) and used to describe a person with a mental age between 8 and 12 on the Binet scale. It was also once applied to people with an IQ of 51-70 and was a step up from "imbecile" (IQ of 26-50) and two steps up from "idiot" (IQ of 0-25). The word moron, along with "retarded" and "feeble-minded" (among others), was once considered a valid descriptor in the psychological community, though these words have all now passed into common slang use, exclusively in a detrimental context.

Ash to Dick ... 2 runs ... that flighted one turned a bit, played against the spin, mis-hits but gets 4 ... now another one well-spanked for a 4 by Dick ... 154-4.
Robin into the attack.

Robin to Dick ... attempted forward defensive, inside edged and almost goes through to hit the stumps through HUGE gap between bat and pad ... positively Tusharesque technique.
158-4.

Do you think light could be offered? If, CTG should take it.

ImtiazK,
So what do you think of this "Roy of Sylhet"?
Looks like he has a lot of fire in his belly. Reminds me of a young Mashrafe, although, not as tall. He is still eighteen ,so, might shot up an inch or two.
Very impressive debut so far!

Shuvashish Roy bowled 29 overs in the first innings plus 7 in the second! Thats way too many overs for a 18 year old in less than two days!...There should be a policy against over-bowling very young pacers by their captains.

That's criminal mismanagement of a young player.
The stuff stress-fractures are made of.

It seems that Mushfiqur Rahim is not playing in for Sylhet in the 4 day match. What happened?

haire kopal...
Tamim scoring an odd 70 "seriously making a case for himself".
JOB scoring a century actually annoying us cuz he might take up that opening slot.
Kapali scoring 168..... a whole new chapter, couple of threads and endless debate.
Some people really got that "zing" factor...

Lol, don't read too much into my comments. I was referring to the facts that he's scored a few more in the NCL so far, and that not many other openers have, which might trigger our selectors to take undesirable actions. So he might just be making a case for himself "from the selectors' point of view".
For me, he still stays out of my test team. ODI team - perhaps.
