Thumbs up Vishwanathan Anand is the new World Chess Champion
Congratulations to Vishy for doing India and the whole of Asia proud.

He was #1 ranked player but Kramnik was the reigning World Champion. Vishy won the current world championship held in Mexico by full 1-point margin. Kramnik finished runner up (on technicality - he was joint runner-up with Boris Gelfand in terms of points).

Anand rocks. I remember studying one his early matches in the early 90s. Incredible innovations and creativity, especially when playing black. By far the most exciting Champion since Kasparov. Cool guy too, met him in Berkeley once.
