Brilliant idea, thank you, thank you!!
At 43 he should be still good. His physic looks great. No bear belly like the previous one. He may not be as strong as Hayden or Symond but he can take on any BD player on arm wrestle, I presume. With an asset like this in our hand why not let him play as a coach-player?
This way he could get his dream come true and play test cricket and we could erase the embarassment part from the NZ tour. Secondly, our batsmen can learn from him right where it matters. I can bet he would have a better average than any of our boys.

What would be Siddon's average in test cricket now? (Now you why I wanted S Waugh)
