i start it with shoaib akhtar "the world's fastest bowler"
4.1 Shoaib Akhtar to Gambhir, no run, 93.7 mph, Gambhir moves forward to one that is on a good length outside off and opens the face of the bat to play the ball to point
i dont remebre the ball but he bowled 153.3 kph = 95.81 mph in his second spell at the age 32 amazing stuff really, ,coming for full sereis after 18 months and straight away this type of effort

brett lee and tait passed 150 and i have seen it in the recent ashes. I think brett lee is the fastest at the moment in the world. Followed by Tait. Shoaib is third for the moment.

3.1 Shoaib Akhtar to Knight, no run, outside off and left alone
3.2 Shoaib Akhtar to Knight, no run, defends to leg, was at 98.4mph
3.3 Shoaib Akhtar to Knight, no run, defends to short leg, was at
158.5kph
3.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Knight, no run, defends to mid on, fast and
furious pace out there
3.5 Shoaib Akhtar to Knight, no run, defends to point, 99.1mph
3.6 Shoaib Akhtar to Knight, no run, this is over 100mph, 161.3kph, go

i heard mitchel johnson doesn't bowl over 140km/h anymore. he has reduced his speed after the injury.

well tait has his elbow injury so yeah i doubt he's currently bowling over 150 (or quicker than brett lee), at least not consistently but early in the year he was hitting 150+ consistently and i think he might have even got a 160.

which injury? last i heard (a couple of days ago) he has been bowling over 140 pretty consistently. i remember when he was like 17 he was touted as the quickest in australia, then got back stress fractures and after that only bowled in the 130s but the last year or so he's started to pick up his speed from what i've seen.

i have seen tait clock 160 point something in the ashes. it was recorded as the third fastest right after shoaib and brett. I think he will become the fastest bowler soon.

i'm pretty sure akhtar, lee and tait have all bowled a 160 or 160+ ball but not 100% certain. i'm almost certain tait did it in that tri-series against england and NZ, and i think lee and akhtar did it a few years ago.

sure he didn't also bowl one in the tri-series? he probably will be the quickest as long as this elbow injury doesn't affect him too badly, i mean he's only like 23/24 and wouldn't his peak in terms of bowling speed be around 25-27?

The fastest officially-recorded delivery was 161kmh, bowled by Pakistan tearaway Shoaib Akhtar against NZ batsman Craig McMillan in Lahore in 2002.

"Tait's delivery action is unique and marked by significant lateral twisting of the spine. However he delivers the ball with phenomenal pace at around 150km+, and occasionally faster - one delivery was measured at 160km/h in an ODI on 4 February 2007 against New Zealand."
from answers.com though it's a wikipedia reference so it could be wrong.
