No, he was supposed to play but they had some issues regarding money. They wanted to give him 1 lakh but he wanted more. Hasibul Hossain played for OLD DOHS(his home club) in the last match but gave away 16 runs in the single over he bowled.

Abahani, Victoria, Surjo Torun fly high in Twenty20
Dhaka, Feb 17 (bdnews24.com) – Title contenders Ahahani Limited, Victoria SC and Surjo Torun have almost confirmed their Premier Division Twenty20 League semifinal berths with straight third triumph Sunday.
Biman Bangladesh, Kalabagan KC, Old DOSH also kept their hope alive to move into the semifinals with their second win, but holders Mohammedan SC continued their shaky performance to concede to their third straight defeat, sparking an early exit from the season's curtain-raiser.
A five-scalp from pacer Ziaur Rahman guided Abahani to record a convincing six-wicket win over City Club, who set Ahahani to chase a paltry 77 runs to win at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) ground-1.
The Dhanmondi-based outfit lost four wickets to reach the target with 2.3 overs to spare as middle order Tushar Imran remained unbeaten on 41 off 41.
Earlier, Zia made the inroads into City Club's batting line-up, claiming five wickets for just 12 runs in allotted four overs.
At the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium (DCS), Ehsanul Haq Sejan blazed an unbeaten 82 off 48 balls as Victoria handed a six-wicket defeat to Partex SC.
Sejan and Farhad Hossain (41) together put on 79 runs for the third wicket as Victoria reached 154 for four in 18.4 overs after Partex posted a fighting total of 152 for seven in 20 overs.
An unbeaten 5o from Shamsur Rahman Shuvo powered newcomers Surjo Torun to a comfortable seven-wicket win over Sonargaon Cricketers, who tasted third defeat in as many matches at the BKSP ground-1.
Surjo Torun made 108 for three in 15.3 overs after bowling Sonargaon out for a paltry 107 in 19.3 overs.
Last year's runners-up Old DOHS defeated Young Pegasus by 53 runs at the BKSP ground-2.
DOHS scored a moderate 129 for five in 20 overs riding on skipper Mehrab Hossain Junior's 63 not out and Anisur Rahman Sanchoy's 32.
In reply, Pegasus stopped at 76 for seven in the stipulated overs in the face of some superb bowling from Mahbub Alam (2/12), M Munur (2/13) and Rashedur Rahman (2.14).
A top order batting display helped Kalabagan KC record a two-wicket win over BKSP, who made 146 for nine in 20 overs at the DCS.
Kalabagan reached the target of 147 with three balls to spare losing eight wickets as top order batsmen – Nazmus Sadat (36), Arif Reza (26) and Hannan Sarkar (39) – gave the winners a solid start.
At the BKSP ground-2, Biman outplayed Mohammedan by five wickets.
The national flag carrier scored 132 for five in 19.5 overs, chasing 131 for nine in 20 overs set by the Motijheel-based Mohammedan.

why Moha modans are losing? Abhoni players would not be motivated enough to beat the hell out of them if they play like relegation contender.

Abahani in Twenty20 semifinals, MSC concede 4th defeat
http://www.bdnews24.com/details.php?id=41049&cid=26
Dhaka, Feb 19 (bdnews24.com) – Abahani Tuesday moved into the semifinals of the Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League with four straight triumphs when they handed a 21-run defeat to Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan (BKSP) at the BKSP ground.
Victoria Sporting Club have almost confirmed their semifinal berth from Group B with a 24-run win over Surjo Torun, who are also still in the semifinal race despite the first loss in four matches at the BKSP ground-2.
Old DOHS handed an eight-wicket defeat to Partex SC to keep their hope alive from the same group.
Victoria have eight points from four matches while Surjo Torun and DOHS have six points each from four outings. Victoria take on DOHS while Surjo Torun face Young Pegasus Thursday.
City Club also raised hope to go to the semifinals with a convincing 57-run win over Mohammedan after the Biman-Kalabagan match was washed out with both teams getting one point each from the match.
City Club secured six points from four matches while DOHS and Kalabagan have five points each from four outings.
Chasing BKSP's 63 all out in 15.3 overs, Abahani made 43 for one in eight overs when rain stopped the match. Later, Abahani was declared winners by 21 runs in line with D/L method.
Saqline Sajib claimed four wickets for just 4 runs as Victoria bundled Surjo Torun out for 79 in 17.2 overs after posting a moderate total of 103 for eight in 20 overs.
Golam Rahman scored a fine 44 runs as Old DOHS reached 96 for two with seven overs to spare, chasing Partex's 94 for eight in 20 overs.
Arafat Salahuddin (4/26) and Abul Bashar (3/19) shared seven wickets as City Club folded Mohammedan at 111 in 19.1 overs after making a challenging total of 168 for five in 20 overs.
City Club's opener Rabiul Karim hammered unbeaten 65 off 50 balls hitting four fours and three sixes.
Sonargaon tasted first win in four matches when they (140/9) handed a 30-run defeat to winless Young Pegasus (110 all out).

Opener and captain Mehrab Hossain remained 63 not out in DOHS's moderate 129-5 in 20 overs before his side put on a tight bowling display to restrict the opposition to 76-7.
Rashedur, Munir and Mahbub each chipped in two wickets while Premiership debutant Mohammad Isam bagged 1-17 from four overs with his left-arm spin.

Here is my hypothesis why its happening...
Players are all united to prtect their own cause. This is the way they are punishing Mohamedan for insulting one of their own. So far we haven't seen anyone punished for that assult. So the players said enough is enough, we will take revenge one way or another.

BKSP pitches got damaged by heavy rain, so the league is postponed for a week.
MSC made the mistake of taking too many national players (Ashraful, Aftab, Zunaed, Razzak) who won't be available to them for the best part of the premier league.
So far, looks like Abahani and Victoria will be title contenders for this year, for both twenty20 and one day leagues. Once the one day league starts, those clubs will be further boosted by Rafique, Shuvashis (Abahani), Enamul, Sajidul, and Rubel (Victoria).

Crunch T20 ties today
Sports Reporter-DS
Three Group B teams will fight for two semifinal spots when the Premier League Twenty20 competition continues after a six-day break today.
Permutations are aplenty but a win would suffice for either of Surjo Tarun, Victoria or Old DOHS but Victoria's all-win record in the first four group matches put them ahead of the pack. They take on Old DOHS at the main BKSP cricket ground in the afternoon, while in the outer ground, Khaled Mashud's Surjo Tarun face Young Pegasus at the same time. Surjo Tarun and Old DOHS have won three matches each.
Meanwhile, Group A matches hold academic interest although the early morning match at BKSP has the same Abahani-Mohammedan clash's attention. Mohammedan, who lost all four of their matches would be desperate to win. But this must be one of the lowest profile clash between the two giants.
In the other matches, Bangladesh Biman take on BKSP and Partex face Sonargaon Cricketers at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium. City Club round off the day's matches with a game against Kalabagan.
The semifinals will be held at the Fatullah Cricket Stadium tomorrow.

Mohammedan's Fifth Loss
City, Torun and Victoria join Abahani in semis
Sports Reporter-DS
City Club joined Abahani as surprise semifinalists of the Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League yesterday as contenders Bangladesh Biman and Kalabagan both fell on the last day of the group stage.
City Club handed Kalabagan a seven-wicket defeat for their third win while Biman crashed to BKSP as the equation in the group changed on the final day.
Abahani emerged group champions maintaining 100 percent record when they routed archrivals and last year's champions Mohammedan Sporting Club by four wickets.
In their worst ever performance in any competition, a depleted Mohammedan failed to win a single match in the league.
In the last four, Abahani will face Surjo Torun while City are pitted against Group B winners and all-win Victoria.
BKSP, who had upset Mohammedan on their Premiership debut, lost three matches in succession before pulling off another impressive victory -- by 30 runs -- against one of the pre-tournament favourites at their home ground.
Having scored 120-6 with skipper Saimon Ahmed and Monirul Haque smashing 42 and 34 respectively, BKSP booked Biman for just 90.
Moshiur Rahman, the young seamer who has already drawn attention, was adjudged man-of-the-match for his devastating spell of 4-0-17-4.
Biman must rue their washed out match against Kalabagan, the only game to be postponed due to bad weather.
Kalabagan also wasted their chances when they were shot out for 96 after being sent into bat at BKSP. Golam Mabud's unbeaten half-century helped City recover from early hiccups to reach 98-3 with five balls remaining.
Mohammedan, who have lost key players due to national duty, put on their best performance of the season but even a challenging total of 148-4 was not enough for them to survive at BKSP.
Faisal Hossain clubbed four fours and three sixes in a 33-ball 53 while Rokibul Hasan contributed 40 off 29 balls as Mohammedan rattled 68 runs in the last five overs.
Abahani were tottering at 25-4 as Mohammedan skipper Manjurul Islam (4-24) struck early but wicketkeeper Sahagir Hossain (43 off 42 balls) and pace bowler Ziaur Rahman (35 off 20 balls) produce late fireworks to guide Abahani to 151-6 with one delivery to spare. Zia, who smashed two fours and three sixes, was adjudged man-of-the-match.
Opener Mahbubul Karim was the only top-order Abahani player who succeeded with the bat scoring 40.
In Group B, Victoria dashed Old DOHS's hopes with a seven-wicket win at BKSP. Man-of-the-match Enamul Haque bagged 3-23 with his left-arm spin to help his side bowl out last year's finalists DOHS for 94. Victoria (97-3) needed 17.4 overs to overhaul the target with combined effort.
Surjo Torun (114-7) booked their place in the semis when they snatched a 16-run victory against bottom-table Young Pegasus at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium.
Naeem Islam, who was in tremendous form in the twenty20 competition of the recently concluded Indo-Bangladesh Bangla Games against West Bengal, topscored with 39 for the winners and later finished with 1-18 to win the man-of-the-match award.
In another match at the same venue, Mohammed Forkan's four-wicket haul shaped Partex SC's (103-9) 13-run win against Sonargaon Club (90).

Abahani, City Club to play Twenty20 final
http://www.bdnews24.com/details.php?id=42341&cid=26
Dhaka, Feb 28 (bdnews24.com) - Abahani Limited and City Club moved into the Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League final defeating their respective rivals in semifinals at Narayanganj Osmani Stadium Thursday.
Blazing 65 runs from opener Mahbubul Karim powered Abahani to an easy 7-wicket win over newcomers Surjo Torun in the first semis while a team effort helped City Club record a tense five-run win over Victory Sporting Club in other semis.
Abahani vs Surjo Torun
Sent in to bat first, the Dhanmondi-based outfit, Abahani, restricted Surjo Torun to 106 for seven in 20 overs with Talha Jubaer (3/21) and Rezaul Karim (2/25) sharing five wickets.
Top-order Shakil Haider (48), Shamsur Rahman (15) and Nayeem Islam (26) laid the foundation with slow pace that caused them to make a paltry total.
Abahani, in reply, got off to a blistering start with opener Mahbubul hammering a 52-ball 65 with the help of three boundaries and as many sixes.
After the departure of opener Jahurul Islam (15), man of the match Mahbubul and Nazimuddin (21) took their side to the verge of triumph before both batsmen left at 103.
Nadif Chowdhury (4) and Rezaul Karim (0) remained unbeaten to take Abahani to 107 for three with 14 balls to spare.
City Club vs Victoria SC
After being invited to bat first, City Club fell in trouble losing three batsmen for 21 runs before opener Imran Ahmed (26) and Arafat Salahuddin (38) produced some resistance.
But they were finally restricted to 96 for eight in 20 overs.
Except Salahuddin and Imran, no City batsmen crossed the double digits in the face of superb bowling from left-arm spinner Enamul Haq Junior (3/16) and pacer Shahajada (2/9).
Victoria, in reply, were reduced to 32 for four in ninth over and never recorded before being restricted to 91 for six in 20 overs.
Mahmudullah Riad (23 off 30 balls) and Dhiman Ghosh (28 off 32 balls) tried to accelerate the run rate in the middle, but that was not enough to reach the target.
Despite ball-a-run from Shahajada (5) and Waseluddin (7), Victoria saw five runs short of the target to end the innings with 91 for six in 20 overs as pacer Shafaq Al Jabir and Arafat Salahuddin took two wickets each.
