Banglacricket.com vs Webhostingtalk.com
Tri-Series Game 1
Today marks an important day in simulation cricket history. The Padang, a picturesque cricket ground located in the heart of Singapore city, played host to its first simulation cricket match.
Banglacricket.com, making their first ODI appearance since January, took on Webhostingtalk.com in the first match of a four ODI tri-series also involving Saintsational.com.
Electing to bat, Webhostingtalk.com got off to a fine start, with both openers posting half-centuries. Equentity - Jamie was the first batsman to depart, with 50. cabalstudios later got out on 77.
fremont failed to capitalize on the opportunity given to him by his captain, making just 9. It is expected that number one ranked ODI batsman, joomlaguy.com, will return to the team on Thursday against Saintsational.com.
Joseph_M didn't trouble the scorers, while both Cifra-Jay and Oonth scored 22. With the exception of Slidey who added 12, the tail order crashed, giving Webhostingtalk.com a modest total of 193.
Banglacricket.com entered the game with nine debutants, so it was only fair that one of the experienced campaigners would open their innings. That was to be newly appointed captain AsifTheManRahman, who went on to score 97, out LBW 3 short of his maiden ODI century.
Adel_chain_gang made a vital 28, while Rubu's unbeaten 30 got the team over the line.
Banglacricket.com had a huge scare in the 34th over, when Slidey, Webhostingtalk.com's specialist spinner, took four straight wickets, all but one clean bowled.
From a comfortable 5/187 to a worrying 9/187 needing 7 runs for victory, Rubu scored the winning runs in death defying fashion, scoring a 6 from the first ball of the next over, followed by the match winning single.
In any other circumstances, 97 runs would be enough, but Banglacricket.com strike bowler Hasib took away the man of the match award due to his haul of 5/51.

It was a 'simulation' match between our site and theirs. Not a single ball was bowled in that whole process.

Tehsin bhai is just taking you for a ride ripon bhai. Actually what happend was: we have a cricket team that was carefuly chosen to battle it out in a cricket match against the other website's team. The match took place in Neverland and we kicked ***. We had support from none other than Mr Peter notable resident of Neverland. Its a pity you missed it. Next time you should come to Neverland too. Tons of fun.

You both lie. The report clearly says the game was held in Singapore

Yeah, we played at the Padang. Great people. Great hospitality. Great game. Great atmosphere overall.
We were actually laughing when the collapse from 5/187 to 9/187 began, but started to feel the pressure in our bladders when the ninth wicket fell. Good on Rubu to have held on to his nerves and seen us through.

Best half-time lunch ever at the clubhouse.
But Asif bhai, you should have gone after their wicket-keeper (forgot his name...), man. He was asking for trouble with silly li'l remarks.
