We fans knew it was very unlikely that Ash will struggle against Pak attack as even the more accomplished/inform batsmen like Tamim,Mushy,Sakid couldn't contribute in the ODi series.
And so he will be dropped right after his failure in first Test.
It's all selectors fault.

"Ashraful claimed his exclusion was unjustified.
‘I scored a fifty in my first match in the National League and then went without scoring much in the next few games. Then again I played some good innings towards the end.
‘This is how cricket is played, you score in some matches and you don’t in others. A player cannot be dropped judging his performance in only one match,’ he added."
Is Ash serious??? Allah tumi eke ki mati diye banaiso??? Amareo oi matir ekangsho diye banaita tahole amar gaa er chamra or motoi etto mota hoto !!!
And I have no words for our selectors

I was eagerly waiting for his comments. Classic. Why he didn't refuse to play first test, he should have said- I need more match practice

Despite how much i hate Ashraful the cricketer, i dearly feel for Ashraful the normal man. Bechara asholei oneek tough time er moddhey diye jacche !!!
One good advice to him, let the selectors know that you wont play for National team for next 1-1.5 years. You will only play FC Cricket, Premier league during this time. Once you start performing, get the confidence and then decide to play for National Team. Otherwise, he will be no man's land throughout his career.

Dropping him from the second Test was totally wrong. Why didn't they drop Tamim too? How is this justifiable? Or do they think Ashraful is a some kind of miracle cricketer, only let him play when he seems to posses the power?

Because Ash hasn't been performing for mmm how many years now ?? On the other hand Tamim scored 83 not long time ago. If we want to compare Ash with Tamim in terms of giving chance then Tamim has at least 100 more chances left.
Anyways that's not the point. The frustrating part is BCB is not learning and it's just proves that how unprofessional they are. Ash should not have been picked at the first place and all these natok is just pathetic . For Tamim I would say, if he continues with his poor performance then it's better for him to leave the national team for a while and concentrate in the FC cricket.

I think people are forgetting that Ash was (most likely) bought in as a replacement for Naeem who was ill. Naeem is now fit again so it's only right that he is back in the team, and tough luck for Ash. Ash should not have been selected in the first place.

I'm glad they didn't play him, not for the reason that he is out of form and can't score runs, but for him being used as a scapegoat constantly. There is to how much a person can take psychologically when people look down upon you or always single you out for the team failures, and Ash seems to me like a young kid (my opinion could be alot more mature) to even have to burden all that. The other players in the team are nowhere near the level of crap Ash takes.

Motinnyah is a part of a much larger, much more endemic problem plaguing our cricket. Naturally dropping him alone doesn't make much of a difference either way. 2 or 4 innings, s or the odd 100, doesn't matter.
We have other players also not qualified to sustain success at this level: Nazimuddin (the abject failure of others makes him look better than he is), Mushfique (off form again), Riyad (sees nothing), Mofees (sucks other than an odd success here and there, "success" being relative) and Nayeem (sucks other than an odd success here and there, "success" being relative). Tamim is obviously focused on other things and that leaves only Shakib and the newbie Nasir. Hardly a side that's likely to compete against a good bowling side.
The less said about KaEdge, Rokibbyah, MS Shubho and Alok the better.

Ashraful can play as opener. He is an attacking batman and can pressure the bowler at the start.
