To call for bringing back Ash, I'll take side with haters ftb, until he makes another good knock. But this was indeed a very good century with lots of boundary in it.

ashraful should have scored a triple century where mehrab hossain has scored a century. he is at least threee times a better batsman than mehrab

Wait - people are not actually considering him in the test side? He could make lots of runs in domestic cricket, but shouldn't be near the test team (or ODI), period. I guess 57 tests would've indicated of how that'd go. It's a massive step backwards, clearly.

People should actually bother reading what people write every once in a while. No one of the people I just quoted said let's bring him back. People said congrats on making a 100, and go score more of them.

Ash definitely doesn't deserve to come back but with our terrible top order situation, he could have a chance at a comeback. Until and unless we get better top order batsmen, we'll continue to see Ash in the talks of a comeback. People might not like to hear that but that's the truth.

its good that he is aiming to do better bit by bit. Before maybe his aim was to score 20 runs and then after achieving that now he wanted to score a century and he did

Bring Ash back against Srilanka! He has a good record against them and is a sentimental favourite!

Ashdafool is a must for SL tour!

Just messing a little. He needs to score, at least, one more century to book a place in the A side -nevermind the Test squad. Having said that, Ash do have a good records against the Lankans in Lanka. Still, I wouldn't consider him for a recall. He must get some serious runs over the next year to even be considered.

Ash was thinking not playing the last game out of consideration for other players? Yeah! I just saw a great example of brilliant footwork against a bouncer demonstrated by none other than BiZu oder Lil Junaida! I believe I can fly

Ashraful has a great record against Srilanka. He had great records in ODI against the teams with which he failed relentlessly. I really want him to come back and shut the mouth of nay-sayers for good. But, he needs to rethink whether one domestic ton is enough for such return. I think he should wait till he is comfortable enough with regained MOJO.

so just because he is good against lankans mean that he is supposed to do well against them?

Well the present Lankan lineup is nothing compared to that 5 years ago. Ash is past his peak as well, normal players are at their peak in their early 30s, in case of ash its his early 20s and he is well past his peak and about time for him to retire from international cricket and make chance for youngsters of age 13 and 14

Just wait for another good knock from him in next match, everyone will turn on his fevor to bring him back to tour SriLanka. He proved himself as a ceturion batman, but yet to proove that was not a fluke innings. tbh I would prefer to bring in any young player who is consistant with regular 50s but for Ash, he needs to proove extra as he already ruined enough chances. Wish him all the best for next match.

Please bring back Ashraful in all formats and make him captain as well. He is the greatest batsman to play cricket, Bradman who? Bradman might have averaged 99 but Ashraful's average of 20 playing for Bangladesh surely eclipses that, and Ashraful's talent is worth an average of 100 just by itself. Ashraful should have a permanent pass to the team because it's his god given right. Performance? One Eid innings in two years is great, what more do you want? The last time Ashraful scored 50 against a team other than Zimbabwe was in 2008. Legend.
