How come R Peterson got 5 wickets ? BD players can't play the spinners as well !!!

Siddons said Bangladeshi batsmen are not good enough to play against South African fast bowlers but you guys noticed that Robin Peterson got 5 wickets in the second innings againts BD as a slow left arm bowler !!!! Do you think BD batsmen forgot to play the spinners as well even they have got quality slow left arm bowlers like Rafique(retired ), Raj, Enamul ??

Do you guys think SA will play 5 fast bowlers or 4 fast bowlers and 1 spinner in ODI series against BD ?

If arafath79 bowls against Bangladesh, pace or spin doesn't matter, he will also bag a 5-for.

Getting wickets will be the easiest job, but finding an opportunity to play against Bangladesh will be quite difficult.

Hehehehehe....I think you are right Miraz bro. I can do both right and left arm medium pace bowling. May be If I bowl my first over as a right arm medium bowler and the next over by left hand then the BD batsmen will be fooled and they will throw their wickets away. At the end my bowling figure will be 10 overs 5 maiden 5 wickets for 10 runs, easy picking for me .

But honestly speaking I don't want to see them getting out and throwing their wickets cheaply like bunch of fools.

It is a myth that our players play spin well just because we are from subcontinent. We are very weak against spin bowling as well and look clueless against quality spinners most of the time. Few examples: Murali, Vettori, Paul Adams, Kaneria. List goes on.

What happened was since the pacers finally got taken off the attack, and I think Peterson replaced Steyn in that spell in the 2nd innings, our bastmen relaxed and thought that they can finally play their shots against a spinner and take it easy a little bit. Boy were they wrong and they allowed an ordinary bowler to pick up a 5 for.

Peterson might not get another 5 for in his lifetime in Test cricket, so he took advantage of this situation, so good for him, bad for us.
