Impressive you have become, on recent time.
In grave danger you are, for the Pakistan series. Hmmm

Congrats Farhad.

I am really happy that Farhad proved the naysayers wrong. I had to literally fight with some distinguished members over the credential of Farhad as a bowler. He is hard working and fast learning.

He deserves a permanent place in the ODI line-up as an all-rounder.

Congrats to Farhad for his fifer.

Im afraid he's up for a shock in the Pak tour.
I've seen him bowling for a little while, and he was bowling prett flat.
At his pace, he cant afford to bowl short and wide, which was exactly what he was doing before SN took a stunner of a catch.

He probably got away with the Irish.
But those pakis, they wont let it go unpunished.

But a fifer is a fifer and he deserves the accolades for the moment.

Lokkho korlam Zahid bhai.

This is a common norm in cricket.

The Irish players were careful against Mashree and in return, went after Farhad as the more fancied bowler to go after. As a result, they tried to see off Mashree and hence he was wicketless today.

On the other hand, Farhad as his opening partner, was bowling more "looseners" compared to Mashree and even though went for some runs, got those wickets.
But his first one was an absolute stunner of a catch by SN.

Probably one of the catches of the year.

Yup. Someone/many used to say Farhad is useless except for T20.

I think farhad provides the perfect balance in the team as an allrounder, he is really integral to bangladesh's success in ODi just like Shakib... but, i still think he still should be used as 3rd seamer.

Yeah but he's going to get hammered by Afridi and the Pakis. I hope Siddons is not fooled by this success with Ireland. I hope he realizes this and takes a real second seamer to Pakistan next month.

Totally agree with you here.
He does provide a nice balance in the team. But i still feel he needs to improve his bowling a fair bit.

He is good for a 3rd seamer, but certainly not for the opening slots.

I think Mahmudullah should get rest in the following ODI and Shahadat should be in.

Congrats!
He bowled within his limit today and was lucky to get wickets even with fulltoss deliveries. But those wickets mattered at the end. Good work.
