the BEST thing that happened this tour i think was on a personal note, my favorite player got a 5 wicket haul! YEEEEEESSSSSS!!!!!

on a more national note: i think alhamdulillah, our top order is back in business... more verification required after three months

Alhamdulillah, BOTH openers "clicked" in about every match we have played this series... our top order was beyond Superb, most importantly, we got the job DONE

ditto.. mash got 5 maidens.. razzak got none..mahrafe's best was 3/22.. razzaks was 3/27.. both should get A+ in this series.. so why does razzak get it and mashrafe doesn't??

I just though Razzak fielding is what set him apart, Razzak, regurly got more wickets at crucial points in the game, which took the momentum away from Ireland.

Top order clicked but the virtually new middle order cracked under pressure. One reason could be that the top four have been playing for some time and are finally reaping the rewards of those match pratice. Same can't be said about the ones in the middle. Actually, it's Raquib, Mahmudullah, and Farhad that can hide behind that excuse. No excuse for Sakib, specially since he played so well in the practice matches against SA.

The grade for selection??? Questionable. I can clearly see their intention and it worked out only because of the opponent, their inexperience, and our home ground advantage. It'll be interesting to see what who they select for the Pakistan matches. Going in with a batting line that had 10 folks who can bat only shows the coach and the selectors concern with our batting line up. For the Pak tour, we'll have to replace atleast one of the would be allrounders for a solid pacer (Rasel preferably, Rajib will also do fine).

Based on the results, the selectors get an A for having the cahones to try this combo. If it had failed, we'd all be calling for their immediate dismissal right now. What really made it work is the players stepping up @ the right time. The team gets an A+.

For Pak tour we will have a 15 members squad so nobody will be dropped.

Rasel wil be added to make it 15.

Does Mahmudullah really deserve that high grade "A" based on scores of 49 and 3 not out? And Asraful B+ and Aftab C+? I think Ashraful did really excellent in the first ODI (64 not out) and pretty good in 2nd ODI. Aftab did very well in the 2nd ODI (61). How does Dhiman get grade of B with 2 not out? I think it's an excellent idea to grade players, but there should be a good mathematical model to be error free and impartial.

whatever it is.. quite a few of the players' grades seem unfair.. but i'd give the overall performance an A+
