How come he stole my formula?
I invented how to be a millionaire with “only one dollar” a while ago. Looks like he applied that same formula.

My one was like that.
1. You put one dollar in your in your wallet. Count one
2. You get that same dollar with your left hand.
3. Transfer that dollar from left hand to right hand.
4. Put that dollar in your wallet with your right hand. Add one in your counting i.e. "Two"
5. You get that same dollar with your left hand from the wallet
6. ransfer that dollar from left hand to right hand.
7. Put that dollar in your wallet with your right hand. Add one in your counting.
8. Continue step-5 to step-7 999997 times.

And there you go, you become a Millionaire.

"Shomokal" pareeyooo.... How to produce innovative news.

Sorry... I meant what he (not me) is spending? And if he is really spending, where is getting back the energy? So you are saying he invalideted Newton's law of motion? Wow he should get Nobel Prize.

You don't produce something out of nothing. You can transform one type of energy into another or transform matter into energy, but you cannot multiply energy from same kind of energy out of nothing. And if you can really do that do that.....
then you pretty much invalidate all the famous scientists theory on energy.

Why wait?

We should go and investigate like a super speed train without wasting any time. Do you realize the level of his claim? How redeculous it is? If he can prove it, how drastically it will change the whole world?

Either we should announce him the most valuabe invention of the mankind ( because with one pencil torch battery we will basically slove all our enegy crisis in the world by simly multiplying) or we should send that guy along with that Shomoal reporter ( and may be the editor also) to Hemayetpur.

You can invent stuff to reduce system loss, but any one really can invent a way to mutiply enegy out of nothing, he deserve a instant fame and one month holiday for the whole world to celebrate that.

There must be some external power source, whether fossil fuel or renewable, to sustain the generator a minimum level if energy is going to be transferred out of the generator. Otherwise it's not really being used is it? For example he's using batteries. I mean did he actually demonstrate the energy being used on something? Because there is a difference between using and generating. For example the kinetic energy from a motor vehicle being transformed back to electrical energy serves its purpose and continues to renew itself. But energy being transferred out to light up a city isn't coming back. He needs to provide some hard data to prove his formula can be beneficial on a large scale.

HB put it correctly. It is not clear from the somokal report whether he used the energy for some purpose. If he does not use the energy for real application, it would be totaly meaningless to keep the cycle alive.

The way the report is written is very confusing. As a Electrical and Electronic Engineering Undergraduate, from the knowledge that i have, this doesnt make much of a sense at all. First of all, you cant just create new energy out of thin air like that no matter what kind of circle/cycle you use. Thats like defining new laws of physics(!).

And another thing he cant just put the electricity into one transformer to another transformer and make a infinite cycle like that, i mean whats the perpose of doing that? As a engineering student this doesnt make any sense at all. And transformers itself has power losses. Therefore his electricty would just decrease to almost nothing after a while !

Seems like someone really got his calculations wrong.

didn't check the link but based on posts, seems to be a violation of the first law of thermodynamics "energy can neither be created nor destroyed" only changed from one form to another - the basis for mechanical engineering.

I have a perpetual motion machine I want to sell along with a beachfront property in Sylhet. Wait a second - with global warming, the beach front property might be an unfortunate reality.

rey bhai this was a report from shomokal. we don't even trust their sports reports let alone some discovery like this...

very confusing report.... (although terms like 'dui ghora' motor was entertaining)..

his theory is.... creating a perpetual influx of energy in his transformer that'll constantly step up the energy, and a portion of that produced energy is fed back to the generator and the rest goes for usage....

eto ajaira report na diye, ekta schematic/circuit diagram dileo to jinishta better bujhtam...

gobor diye kisu electricity banaileo ektu patta ditam......

Give him some slack, will you? Quite a few pseudo-scientists spent a big part of their lives last few decades of 19th century. It's only natural that we will see these energy-alchemist gophers popping up heads here and there in country like ours. In last 5 years I have got at least two emails about invention of perpetual motion machines from Bangladesh. At least it's pretty soothing to know that we are already catching up with western pseudo-science fever in less than couple of hundred years.

a funny Youtube video on perpetual motion:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wvRzWYCZ2e0

on a serious Note: not belittling Giasuddin's achievement, but need to see more to be convinced

Take a look at this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SvB3PiPBozU

The way he talks about "his formula", i feel like he is selling his "shopne pawa kobiraji oushod".

BTW, newspaper reporting on science related issues has a long way to go.

and one other reason this whole revolutionary perpetual theory is yet to materialise fully.... there are actually companies/ppl willing to spend billions of dollars NOT to let these research go...

so it has to be our Gias bhai from Ctg or the electrician from Aussie outback with the invention......

Interesting. As a former instructor of electircal engineering I find the report incomplete and misleading.
