Not a bad preliminary squad as long as they don't call up players like Rubel or Dollar to have their debut against India or Pakistan.

I am all for not letting any newbies thrust in to the national team. However, the Moronic selectors may not agree with us.

lol, Take your pick.

Debut against India/Pak at home or Aus/SA away? You know its gonna happen.

Not a bad squad but I hope Aftab along with the debutants and some of the discards dont make the final squad, he needs to get a clear message.

Good one T_E.

Well, the core-25 is nothing surprising i guess.

You leave some, add a few, juggle a couple and go merry-go-round with others.

But you know what.....?
the result's always the same....

Fazal I find lots of bolod in this. Why you are counting three.
My Bolod list
Super Duper Bolod: Mohammad Ashraful, Aftab Ahmed,
Super Bolod: Shahriar Nafees, Alok Kapali,
Bolod: Nazmul Hossain, Mehrab Hossain Jr
Newbie Bolod: Mosharof Hossain,Junaid Siddique, Nazimuddin,
Promising Bolod: Dolar Mahmud, Rubel Hossain
That leaves only these 11 out of bolod list, however I do not know the credential of the last three.
Tamim Iqbal, Shahadat Hossain, Syed Rasel, , Farhad Reza, Dhiman Ghosh(WK), Mahmudullah, , Ro Naeem Islam, quibul Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim(WK), Sajedul Islam, Nadif Chowdhury
But by choosing Shakib (who would not be availble) and aftab (scoring double digit I would be happy) Rafiq proved that he is really the Bolod Moharaj supported by Khoder Khasi Durjoy and Akram.

I guess Shakib is available for the Asia Cup. He is not available for the Tri-Series.

Btw, when is the HSC exam starting/Ending?

Again we have Alok and new players into the team without proper grooming in the A Team Circuit ...

Time to understand the huge discrepancy between club/NCL/U19 and International cricket, and the difference between intial success if any over short-term, and sustainable, long-term success.

With clueless gadhas like Tiger-mama and his Biriyani Boys at the helm, I don't expect that understanding will come anytime soon.

I dont understand either. All these younger players need to prove themselves for a few years with the A team and in Domestic Cricket before they are brought into the National Team even if we are taking on Singapore and Malaysia!
