Not fair that we have to play two back-to-back games on consecutive days either.

look at the bright side. You will have one less competitor for the semi final match thread. Just fight off Obayed bhai, Assad.

This will be a totally different game ....we will see BD again tommorrow. The reason:
1) today wickets did not fall in pairs until 40 overs. That gave a big boost to the existing batsmen in the crease and gave them believe that they can score if they stay in the crease with UAE type of bowling. Tommorrow it will be totally opposite bowling from Lanka. Vaas, Murali, and others are very effective, I doubt we can score 200 against them with our non performing batters.
2) Our bowlers are getting worst day by day. Mash and Rajib giving runs from the beginning without making crucial breakthrough. Rasel will be missed. If tommorrow these duo can not check runs SL will go after us from the beginning.
3) Our spinners in the middle were ordinary (except Raz), but I doubt he will be that effective tommorrow like today. Dollar is OK. SL will pile up runs when the slow bowlers will bowl in the middle.
4) Captancy from Ash another reason to worry. Even after 3 rd PP he went defensive and didn't approach aggresive enough. Most probably he was trying to rest his bowlers for tommorrow's match.
5) Ash got lucky three times when the ball went insidge edge. Tommorrow the bowlers are way above than today's bowler's standard. He will not last if things go that way.
6) Nazim, Kapali, Musfiq, Mahmdullah and Mashrafee need to atleast contribute minimum 30 runs. Which is not happenning. So unless we see two innings like Ash and Roqibul, we might not be able to impose any big total for SL. They have plenty of batters to score merely 230-250 runs.

Bowling is a major worry, mainly the pacers, who seem to be finding it very difficult to maintain discipline. With our pace attack, its imperative that we get 'frustration' wkts, instead we are spraying it all over the place. We are still giving away a boundary ball every over from the pacers. God..why not Rasel in the team. I don't believe this..

We aren't that bad against spin. We struggle against fast pacers. Vaas has slowed down a lot and isn't as effective nowadays although he does have great record against Bangladesh. The man we should look out for is Dilhara Fernando, our batsmen always struggle against him.

Its a surprise not to see Rasel today! "they" are killing him slowly...
(I know he is not in the squad!)

well.. i dont like back to back matches.. hope the tigerzz can keep it up.. we got 300 against uae.. thts good.. but how much can we manage against sl?? mash needs to buck up.. i can't bear to see him like this.. i know i didn't watch the match but stats clearly show that he neither bowled well.. nor batted well.. i cant bear to see him like this.. i hope i see the old mash tomorrow.. the allrounder mash.. i hope razzak keeps it up.. ash was a bit lucky today.. he wont be so lucky tomorrow.. so he better watch out..
sl bowling AND batting attack is very strong.. hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.. i will say,

"BEST OF LUCK TIGERZZ!!! ROAR LIKE TRUE TIGERS!!"

We probably should not dream of a win from our team at this stage of their transition. But we can surely look to build on the positives from the last few games. Runs from the top four would be imperative. A better showing from the stop gap and reserves like Alok, Dollar, and Nazim would be great. Realistically, I see our best chance if we get to bat first and post a 250+ score. Finally we have a varied spin attack and I am pretty confident about defending a sizeable total in a slow, turning surface.
