Default Shakib is joining Bangladesh A in England, tomorrow, July 11, 2008

Shakib is joining Bangladesh A in England tomorrow, Friday, July 11. He will be writing his last exam today and will fly for England tomorrow.
I hope he will capitalize the match practice opportunity in England and impliment it in the coming 20/Twenty tri-series in Canada in August and the Australian tour in August /September. All the best to our beloved Shakib...

Not really. Zunaid will still be the captain.

Wish him all the best. All I am looking forward is him performing consistantly with the bat and ball in a new foreign environment.

This is good. He's been out of it, and now getting a chance to get back into the game.

Good thinking IMO.

He should take these matches more serious than H.S.C.

Pressure's on him. He opted out of the team and now needs to find his rhythm back.

Good luck Sakib.

They had them almost beaten in ODI practice match. It was a tie at the end.

3 Day match usually ends up with draw, unless Steyn makes a record taking 8/9 wkts!

Its good for SAkib & the others of the national BD team will also need to get more experience. SO great decision by BCB.

it's good for national players to get experience in these conditions but it's bad that it's for the A team, firstly it takes away from the reserves getting experience and secondly, with all the people harping on about how negative siddons is how do you think it makes the players feel when they go from being the best players in the national team to being dropped to the A team while other nationals aren't? i.e. tamim, shakib, raqibul and rasel, going by results of the national team in comparison to their national team mates these 4 are the last ones who should be dropped to the A team.

Apologies, I was a bit lax with my prose. What I meant to say is that BD A is likely to field it's strongest side (including Shakib) in the 3 day match against south africa. This will also be the best opportunity for the boys to impress. A win of course (whether in 3 days, 4 or even one) is always welcome...
