I liked the idea of batting first in the last match. Hope they will do the same in the next match.

well.... a win seems highly unlikely....soo I'll just pry for a better performance.
I mean it would be nice not to get bagged at school because of my cricket team.

FROM CHANNEL I NEWS.....OMG OMG...guess what!!!??!!
Apparently when we play New Zealand at home.. we could well and truley have a new captain!!!
Jamie Siddons said Mash or Shakib could be chosen!!! So this Last Odi against aus might just be the last time Ash captains...Bangladesh!!! =O
But it all depends on our performance of the last odi against aus.

If this is true, then I can't say I'm surprised. It's no good having a captain who fails to follow his own instructions. Mashrafe would be a good choice as he is the only one who plays responsibly. England have done well with their best player as captain, perhaps we should do the same?

Really!! That's good... we need a change. Please don't put Shakib in that place now.. give him some time to settle.. Mash would be good choice for the time being.

may Allah bless my little sister! thank you for this news! this could be something of a little hope that i see now in the horizon.
i will always support, love and admire our ash! but i now strongly believe that he is not captain material. ash cannot inspire the team or his team-mates! and a lot of other things, a captain of a test team should not hit/slap a spectator/fan/hater just because he or she said something regarding your performance - no matter how aweful or rude it might be! you have to show patience and high tolerance every second of your life as a captain! you are not in your back alley playing danguly anymore, you are in the world league and you have to act and behave that way! courtesy, politeness, modesty and responsibility are just a very few basic things that are mandetory for any cricket team captain, even he is just the captain of a local club team in east pikepara, bogra! unfortunately ash never had any of these qualities! the thing that bothered the most about ash's captaincy is that he never take responsibility for his own mistake, he does not have any accountibility! he is great batsman and i hope and pray that he bats like the way he is supposed to, meaning finding his mojo back! but to be a captain of the national team, he just simply isn't smart/intelligent! i think shuhwardy shuvo has a lot more of those quilities in him and i hope someday he will lead us well in the big field!

We CAN Change.
But Can we?
Me and Fazel Bhai was the few that was against this popular choice of making ASH the captain...
Anyway I would love to see any one of these two Mash or Sakib. But since mash is older he should be the one first tried on...

Thanks antora for the info. Really it will be a great move if it happens, and it will also give Ash some motivation to perform as he will not be an automatic choice like now.

Already forgot me bhai? I was probably the most fierce critique of Mohammad Ashraful's captaincy.
