Default Bangladesh can win Vs New Zealand

I am pretty sure that we have a strong team to beat the New Zealanders, we have got some great players in the team. i would like to see this players in the squad.

Top 11

Tamim Iqbal, Junaid Siddique, Mohammad Ashraful, Rajin Saleh, Tushar Imran and Shakib Al Hasan

I would like to predict that one of the above player will score 50+ run or even 2 50s.

Bangladesh cannot beat Newzeland with the current crop of players nor would they be able to win if the Haba led ICL players were available for selection. Newzeland has better ODI and test players than Bd.

Shamz you are really getting very annoying, your last 3 posts were the opening post of 3 different threads. You just make an useless thread with a poll in it and then you never feel like writing anything on it. We know Bangladesh can beat any team if they play to their potential, you don't have to open threads like these and ask people whether we can win or not. Specially your previous two threads were simply meaningless, I don't know that you were joking or not, but if those were jokes then those were pretty lame ones. So my request to you would be please don't open this sort of lame threads and rather participate in the forum by posting sensible posts or threads.

Where would our team be without Tamim, Sakib and Mash. Probably, stripped of our test status i reckon.

We simply must perform in this series, no other option. The national team must show the world that we are still capable of becoming a fully fledged test nation otherwise we are dead.

Another stat, out of your 93 posts 37 were threads. Whereas Zaved bhai (bujhee kom) has more than 2000 posts and is yet to open a thread. This clearly shows how useless your threads were.

This NZ squad is very stronger than we last played them. It will not be impossible to beat them but not that possible either.

Tim Southee is an excellent wicket taking bowler
Jesse Ryder is a hard hitter like Mcullum. He destroyed England.

These are the two players we should be worried about besides Mcullum & others.

Our best chance will be first game we play against them (before NZ gets a chance to acclimatize).

I agree! Tim southee has done a bit of a wrecking job against SA and England. Some people feel that he is better than Dale steyn.

BD has two hard hitters to contend with now. I am sure that they have not forgotten what Mccallum did to them in the last ODI in NZ. That was utter humiliation.
They are coming a few days earlier to BD to get acclimatize, so they willhave a bit of an advantage.

It has to take a miracle, dedication, hard work and luck to beat NZ. IMO, BD did not do too badly in the Test matches. Hope that they can repeat that performance

We definitely can but shall we play to win? or go for smaller targets? Result depends on that.
As some say that we shouldn't aim to win now, just go by stages of development, where winning is not an option.

my opinion is that you can't expect to win every match and if the team doesn't win it isn't the end of the world because the most important thing atm is whether those little steps of development are being taken, if we win then it's awesome and we should be attempting to win every match. btw i believe the team has been trying to win every match, i think some people are just using siddons words as excuses for why the team has performed so badly.

do we have a chance against NZ? yes, but at this point it's difficult to even know who the selectors will select for the final 15 let alone the final 11 and even then we'll probably either have some new comers and/or some formers who haven't been at the international level for awhile so it all depends on how well those players adjust to that step up to the international level.

Dude.. theory says practice makes you better. However, that theaory doesn't fall for our Bangali Loosers. Cuz no matter how much they practice and no matter how much they learn, and gain experience.. their level of playing just sux. No matter how poor ur country is, if u practice and practice u will become very competitive at it.. but that never happens with our players.. And i think i kno why.. these loosers only practice cuz they have to.. but they not doin it with passion.. They have no drive to win, they are only playing cuz of their financial reason and retire when they are old.

Beating NZ is one of our chances to beat a team in the top 8. The countries we can beat are WI and NZ in terms of talent. They dont have the strongest team and they are coming to our backyard, why shouldnt we have a chance to beat them
