I hope either Channel I or ATN snap up the rights for the series. So that I can watch the series for free.

Is this really real? Chowdhury Jafarullah Sharafat is the BCB president, like replacing Chameli? or replacing Nijam-the unknown CEO?

I disagree bhai. The BCB could not have asked BTV to produce it because their coverage is of poor quality (no 3rd umpire etc). Nimbus have agreed to produce it but as they're showing other (india) matches they can't screen it. The problem is no-one lese wants to buy it! I don't see Channel I or other sattelite broadcasters lining up to screen the series and surely this would not be the case if BD were winning matches!

As for the sponsors Adtouch, you can't blame the BCB for Adtouch failing to meet a deadline!

The BCB can be very incompetent, on this occassion however it's too harsh to lay the blame at their door...

Black Caps announce new major sponsor

29/09/2008 2:40 p.m.
Dubai-based real estate developers Dheeraj and East Coast have signed on as Black Caps' new major sponsor

New Zealand Cricket has announced a new major sponsor of the Black Caps.

Dubai-based real estate developers Dheeraj and East Coast LLC (DEC) has signed a three-year deal with New Zealand Cricket.

The National Bank will remain a sponsor of cricket in New Zealand through the National Bank Series.

Its all down to perfomance. We need to win few matches otherwise no one will bother to sponsor us.

Neo Sports fails in preliminary hearing
India’s Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal (Tdsat) has dismissed sports broadcaster Neo Sports request to immediately disconnect the supply of its channels to direct-to-home operator Tata Sky.

The tribunal comes after Tata Sky argued that it has made payment of Rs 8 million to Neo Sports till August 2008 on the basis of the revised reference-interconnect-offer (RIO) by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India on 1 March, 2008.
Neo Sports argued that since the DTH operator has not signed the RIO it should pay the subscription charges as per the old agreement signed by both parties. According to the old agreement, Tata Sky is supposed to pay Rs 32.3 million without interest and Rs 36 million with interest as of 15 September.
In its petition, Tata Sky also alleged that Neo Sports has not given any direct notice to the DTH operator for disconnecting the signals of its channels. However, Neo Sports said that it had issued a public notice dated 12 September in The Indian Express for disconnecting the signals of its channels.
The case has been listed for hearing on 1 October.

Just read this interesting news. I never liked this nimbus sports for some reason. don't no why BCB did not renew the contract with ESPN Star, because now its too late as they will regret it. I hope I am wrong.

So it proves that we are not only visitor who brings lose to the host.
At the end of the day, our cricket has to bear the loss. How on earth BCB fail to capitalize our fantastic performance in two WC of 2007? They are such incompetent that compare to them the previous era look like management of Warren Buffet

But this the reality, BD cricket still needs investments. You can not count this as loss. It is investment.

In order to grab some profit you have to perform.
To perform you have to have quality.
To have quality you have to have proper training equipped with proper training facilities and as well as coaching stuffs.
To have all this you need planning.
Making plan and implementing it properly you need vision and forthrightness.
Which is only a dedicated, devoted, qualified technical with a cricketing back ground persons can do.

Which is now needed very much...
