Siddons is looking over too optimistic now, after the last ODI he said he was very disappointed that we could not make it 3-0. And today he said that he is hoping for a win in the test series. Both of them looks to me a bit too much for the current team. I just hope this positiveness of Siddons shows in the batting department of the Tigers.

Vettori warns hosts
Captain Daniel Vettori warned that New Zealand have plenty left in the tank as they take on Bangladesh in the first Test at the Chittagong Divi-sional Stadium today. The Black Caps came from a match down win the one-day series 2-1 with players struggling to cope with a long break in international cricket, stifling heat and unfamiliar pitches.
"We have played only 50 per cent of our ability to be honest, and we still won the (ODI) series," said Vettori before a practice session yesterday.
"But we need to improve on that. It is a fresh start for us with some new boys in. I think the momentum is definitely with us and I am looking forward to those improvements," added the bespectacled left-arm spinner, who will have off-spinner Jeetan Patel at the other end. Vettori has a fantastic record in Bangladesh, having picked up 20 wickets in two Tests in 2003-04 with best figures of six for 28.The two spinners will do the bulk of the job with Kyle Mills and Iain O'Brien providing support as the seam options. But there won't be any of the hostility that was on show in the last Test played at this venue where Bangladesh even had Aftab Ahmed retired hurt after being felled by a bouncer. The South Africans were at the Tigers' throat at all times but Vettori believed that it will not be their mode of attack.
.............
Vettori took a look at today's playing surface on Tuesday during the third ODI and believed that it will break up from the third day.
"It was next to the one we played in the third ODI so I think it'll be almost similar. It looks like it will start to get dusty by the third day so then the spinners can come into play," said Vettori.

our Bowlers will do well...and batsman will flop again. or probably a one man show again! thats my feeling about BD.
but i Hope inshallah they do well at least push it to a draw as minimum.

Bangladesh should bat first if they win the toss and need to show good batting performance.

Leaving out Enamul is the biggest blunder the BCB Gadhaz have made to date! If six bats cant do a job; seven or eight won't do the job either. What Jokers this BCB lot are- they have left the only trump card out on a supposedly spinning track!
God forbid if NZ wins the toss. I guess Mash and Shahapova have to toil looong under scorching sun in CTG. Just pray that pacers, especially, Mash stays fit and injury free!

I don't think this New Zealand team can score 500+, maybe If Ross Taylor gets going, which he should since he scored two 150+ scores last tour in england and is in goodform now,so who knows

He's actually right. We had the chance to make it 3-0.
Both 2nd and 3rd ODI was ours. We just gave them away as pricless gifts.

Our team strategy is simple. Play 8 batsmen and instruct them to stay rooted to the crease the whole day eating up as many balls as possible and force a draw.Hence the exclusion of Enamul and Inclusion of Sir Mehrab Hossain.
This is completely unacceptable given the fact we are facing the weakest kiwi side till date. With this sort off negative mentality I see us losing this match.

All I want is 250 runs in each innings by our team. That's all. Is that too much to ask?

This might be one of the most important tosses in a long time. Imagine the chaos if Ash won the toss and chose to bowl!
