The last match was a big embarassment for all of us. Dreadful batting at the end and an even more dreadful bowling and fielding performance. It looked like when DW came on to bowl they just didn't want to win. The body language was totally different from the match against Delhi. No cheering, no determination, no commitment in the field. It was just horrible to watch. Now we have to depend on luck to take us to the semis. We have to win every game from here on and hope the other results go our way and still there will be the NRR factor.

I am much worried about the DW pace combination. In such a flat pitch they need bowlers who can generate swing and cutters. Even playing Tapash will not be helpful.

This is one game they should win.
Mumbai is a pretty crap team, or so i've heard.

170-180 by batsmen. But still would be short to defend because of the great bowlers like Sharif & Co.

Champs, not quite yet? The Mumbai Champs have not redeemed themselves from their last edition, or the one before that. They are struggling to find form and are the only team without a win in this tournament. Nathan Astle can’t seem to find a way to lead his team to winning ways. The inclusion of Hasan Raza and Taufeeq Umar is probably the only optimistic start to their campaign, weakened by the absence of Tino Best, Mervyn Dillion, and of course the legendary Brian Lara. The consistent performers this campaign have been Kiran Powar, Dheeraj Jadhav and Taufeeq Umar at the top of the order have provided starts. Contributions lower down the order have come from the likes of Johan Van der Wath. Nathan Astle has been the unlikely source of wickets in the first couple of games. The Champs still haven’t found the right team combination, and the sand clock is running out. Some form of redemption might come from the fact that they are playing a relatively inexperienced side in the Dhaka Warriors. The Champs are still nursing the wounds of a bad bruise inflicted upon them by the Badshah’s, who literally ran away with the game in the first fifteen overs. From the Warrior’s point of view, they would be a bit down having lost to their Bengali counterparts. But none the less, they still have something that the Champs don’t and that would be a win under their belts. Alok Kapali and Aftab Ahmed steered the innings to a defendable total of 175, against the Royal Bengal Tigers. Shariar Nafees and Nazimudin were instrumental in their win against the Giants. Even though results haven’t gone the Warrior’s way they are still applying the basics but somehow are struggling to get the finishing touch. Who can forget the sensational knock by Alok Kapali scoring the first century in the ICL 20’s championship? Moshraff Hossain and Mohd. Rafique have been regular among the wicket takers. From the Warrior’s perspective, they have the ready ingredients in place, only the finishing touches to the recipe remain. Even though both the teams have faced defeats in their last game, the edge still remains with the Dhaka Warriors as they take on a jaded Mumbai Champs. - Akshobh Giridharadas

Razi, you are absolutely right. They just lack the finising touches. They are missing the killer instincts.
But if they keep batting the way they are, they WILL win more matches. It all depends on the pacers.
COME ON YOU WARRIORS

Dhaka Warriors must win to stay in contention for semi-final. Loose and they should forget about it.

ahh we not gona make it to semis so might aswel just enjoy.. they screwed up the last match, had we won then we had a chance.
One thing i don't get is all the teams play good against us even tho we make a good total 170+, that idiot gavaskar was a loser till he played against us, even the commentators was shocked on the way he was batting, going for big shots,he isn't even known for that.
But every tom d1ck and harry plays good against us.
Oh well theres no hope anymore with DW so just enjoy ppl!

WTF Tapash back? Poor delivery from Sharif and an even poorer shot from the batsman and it is in the air but it's safe. The whole stadium is empty.

Sharif gives width to the left-hander and is rightly dispatched for 4.

10 runs from Tapash's first over. I mean he bowled okay but the batsman took the chances and luck favoured him.
