Hey folks,

We are going to provide live results on the New Age Election Portal at www.newagebd.com/election.

Hope you guys have had a chance to look at our interactive, colour-coded maps and all the other good stuff. I'll try to drop by tomorrow in the midst of the madness to have a chat.

By the way, its been a while since I've been on BC. I miss you guys!

Sham

ps. TB, RB and all the other admins, sorry for the free advertising I'm doing through BC. I thought since we are not selling anything through the portal and its public service, you might allow it for a day.

^^^That's a very useful site with a lot of valuable information. I appreciate your effort. I posted the link on another thread. But I think there are some errors in your candidates' list and their constituencies.

If you find errors, please report them through the portal or by sending me an email at shameranat gmail.com, we'll have them corrected by the time the polls close tomorrow. Thanks a lot!

Nice and Printable Election Tracker from Prothom-Alo.
It has Name of Candidates for Each Constituency along with results of 1991 election and a space for tracking election results.

Nice Election Edition of Daily Star
Looks similar to the New Age Edition...but Daily Star version loads faster for me.

Sham, been a long time. Good to see you here.

Rifat, are you sure about your qualifications? Ever stole money? Misuse power? Cheat? Lie? Have multiple foreign bank accounts? Been to jail or done enough crime that you should have been in jail? Have Zia or Sheikh in your name? You may actually not qualify to be president of BD and THAT's a good thing.

আপাতত ভোট দিতে যাচ্ছি। এসে অভিজ্ঞতা বলতে পারা যাবে। নাকি মিরাজ ভাই এর জন্য একটি সতন্ত্র সুতা খুলবেন?

Just voted. It feels great to vote 'No'. The center is orderly but we have long way to go as my presiding officer ask me the slip of any political party to check my voter id instead of my voter id card. One of the advantage of voting in city core is that there is almost no police or goon around voting center; but in TV already claim and counter claim started of hijacking voting center in rural areas by rival parties. Would update you after vote about voting concluded as my brother is a presiding officer in a Dhaka center

i am not worried now, inshallah a time will come when my nation,my people will need me, and i shall serve them...

meanwhile, let me educate myself, establish influence, construct plans to diminish forces in our government which Prevents us poor simple-mided people to receive Allah's mercy and destroy the roots of evil! simple things first:food, education , and economy the rest is up to...

although people wonder, will our nation exist within the next 35 years???(Global warming issues...)

Polling has stopped throughout the country. Now the presiding officers have started counting the votes.

Very few reports of violence and irregularities which is a very encouraging sign.

The stupidity level of our so called journalist. Journalist to presiding officer আপনার কেন্দ্রে কতটা স্বচ্ছতার সাথে ভোট গণনা করা হচ্ছে? As if presiding officer would say in my center it is less than 100%.

Cast my vote. Then I found out people were offering Tk.500 for voting their party. I feel empty now, compounded by an otherwise empty wallet
